Nearly 2 years since the announcement, but the waiting is worth it.
+ First, it came from TBS, a well-known broadcaster about making good dramas + Second, the main cast, Inukai and Iijima. They not just used to be Tokusatsu actors, but they also play the main role in BL once. Moreover, they already knew each other about 5 years ago, when they co-starred in the crossover movie in the Kamen Rider Franchise + Third and finally, their acting ability. I mean, JBL's casts are usually Toku actors not just for a joke. Tokusatsu is not just simply a show for kids. Comedic, angst, traumatized, etc... Toku has all of them, so they truly have the capabilities to play this show.
Although I was scored 10 out of 10 for the final ep, but that was a respect for how they managed to make enough emotional scenes in that very limited time for a show. If we make a comparison to the novel, the finale wasn't enough for it. Even the director said that if he's permitted to do it, he'll definitely make a full version of this show.
There's two bottles of water too. That killed me. So now I assume that the end credits are Mitsuru's wish, since…
More like their both wishes, since the ED were told that intended from the start, they make it separately from the original world line to fulfill their never come to true wishes.
The OP and ED were so lively despite the melancholia in the show was already intended from the start. The director wants to fulfill their never-come-to-true wishes, by creating a new world line that apart from the reality in the original show in OP and ED, makes their dreams come true.
No, they already done all the parts in the novel. So the only option that we can hope right now is the director's…
But talk on the bright side, they already prepared for us another version of the ED, where the accident never happened and they grow up and drank beer together, like what Koichi said in the end of ep 5.

Nope, that was just my hope for an alternate ending for this show. But in the end, I'm glad that they didn't changed it, cuz this was the perfect ending for this show
Their first kiss scene is described in the novel that was a clumsy one, so they were just doing right exactly the original one, so basically no need to count that.
Hard to believe that this beautiful but painful show is ended today + Firstly, big praise to the staff who doesn't even make any big changes in the ending, which retains the true beauty of this series + Secondly, the cast, RioSora duo performance was incredible, especially Inoue Sora, he was the cheerful type like Koichi in real life, but he performs the introverted Mitsuru role so perfectly. This show is also one of two shows in which Inoue plays the lead role that got into the top 10 of the best show in late-night this season in Model Press voting, the second one is Goukon. + Finally, even if they're reunited together in different shows or not, I'll continue to support their works
He and Koichi had already confessed their feelings when the accident happened, but I’m totally with you about…
Nope, they were dating about 1 year ago before that accident
+ At the end of ep 2, they hold hands like its was normal for them + Ep 3 was the flashback, as already said in the synopsis, and how Mitsuru told the story
One more thing that I loved about this one more than the other 3 from MBS is, the sub-char, I mean, even Mitsuru's…
About the stepmother part, is already written in the JP wiki in the character section, so it might happen in this drama version too if they have enough space for the epilogue one
Oh, this hurt. But like a thousand tiny cuts rather than one deep one. I never thought I'd be this invested in…
One more thing that I loved about this one more than the other 3 from MBS is, the sub-char, I mean, even Mitsuru's father and miss Kasumi, who later became his stepmother, weren't as bad as I thought, more like it completely reverse of what I think about cheating and toxic family issues.
I'm just using TVer to watch the EP7 without any subs, so spare me the mistakes+ Koichi right now is a type of…
For the "living spirit" part, I found it similar to the "Ano Toki Kisu Shite Okeba" show last year, the FL spirit is detached from the body, and she has to possess the guy very next to her to meet her love again (Make things clearly first: that show wasn't a BL)
I'm just using TVer to watch the EP7 without any subs, so spare me the mistakes
+ Koichi right now is a type of living spirit in Japanese folklore, when I searched in a few mythology pages, it said that's a spirit that leaves the body just to revenge/harm people, or manifests its presence to loved ones, for Koichi is the latter one. But for me is still kinda not right about, cuz his body right now is still with him, more like his using his very own dead body instead stealing someone's alive body. But for a show that is based on a very old novel with a short length, I won't ask anymore about the plot build. + Right now, Koichi still stands it because he using Mitsuru's life energy (I guess?) + A true char dev from Mitsuru, if he is still the same as the 2 EPs before, I think that I wouldn't like this character anymore. He used to, what can I say, too much on guarding Koichi since he's become a living corpse. But right now he just accepts it peacefully without any strong arguments, as Yasumiko warns about the time limit, or Koichi said he doesn't have time anymore. + The newborn child is a girl, so, say goodbye to the Koichi reincarnated into his brother's plot.
The final thing, does anyone ready for the last station of this train?

It came from this tweet, although he didn't have any explanation for that line.

So, I guess we already have the HE that we want?
