I like how the characters are introduced little by little. Episode 4 leaves you with even more intrigue, and the soundtrack in this drama is incredible — at times, it creates a real sense of horror.

This is the second collaboration between Wang Hedi and Jiang Peiyao—did anyone else notice? 👀
The drama isn’t focused on romance, but I’m already starting to ship them.🤭

I’ve watched the first two episodes—the puzzle pieces have only just been laid out, and I can’t wait to…
This is what caught my attention the most. Even though I know I’ll probably end up crying, I want to see how this character develops and what their backstory is.

Thanks for this. Looking at the tags I noticed there's no comedy tag. I was just about to say, after reading the…
The trailer blends elements of horror and suspense, but the drama itself doesn’t fully feel serious. The first episodes show a sharp contrast in tone: at times they build intrigue and tension, and then suddenly shift to humor.

thanks for sharing. just popped up on netflix for me but will wait for more episodes to come out.
So far, I’m really enjoying it. I need to watch it a second time to understand some things I couldn’t fully catch. It’s a shame only 3 episodes have been released.

There’s a lot of intrigue in this drama. The main case already feels unusual, and the introduction of RFX’s character 15 years later makes you wonder what happened during that time and why he changed so much.

I’ve already watched two episodes, and the pacing is really fast. The comedy and suspense scenes are well done, and as the episodes progress, it becomes more and more intriguing.

Read a lot of comments that Princes Lin An is not necessary, bratty, etc. If you are annoyed by Princess Lin An…
It must be a minority, because I personally loved the character. Despite the limited screen time, they managed to have great chemistry with the protagonist. I hope the same cast returns for the second season.

oh my god the last 2 epps was phenomenal actting wise and story. its crazy cant wait fr s2
I agree. The last episodes were the best. It was an emotional rollercoaster — I cried, I got angry, and those final minutes, even with spoilers, still hit me hard.

very strong first half, quite weak second half. ended up disappointed, but I absolutely loved the first 25 episodes.
That wasn’t the end. A second season has already been confirmed.

Less than 4 days left. The countdown starts now. I’ve been here since day one of filming, and my expectations are sky-high — I’m beyond ready for this.

Person Dylan Wang
I watched each and every one of his dramas before joining MDL, and all of them are a chef’s kiss masterpieces!…
All I know is that his dramas are very popular in China, especially the recent ones that have been released. For being so young, he has managed to stand out among many stars of his generation. Since LBFAD, his popularity hasn't stopped growing. Not just anyone can have two dramas centered on men (one already released and another still in production) with a single leading role. Not just anyone has the opportunity to film their first movie as the main protagonist, and not just anyone gets the chance to share the screen and leading role with veteran actors already established in the industry in a thriller and suspense drama. GOTD is still on the list of most popular dramas even though it's been over 9 months since it aired. Maybe he doesn't have as much fame here because he's not doing romantic dramas (just my observation), but trust me, his popularity is still on the rise.

The teasers, clips, and everything look really great. Definitely, this drama is not like the others. Its aesthetic and synopsis give off a unique vibe.

wtf is that ending? Total turnoff.
It's just the first season based on the first episode. A second season hasn't been confirmed yet, but let's hope it gets off the ground, since many questions were left unanswered.

Episode 15 is one of the best. But the emotional rollercoaster is just beginning in that episode, because from then on, everything gets a lot more entertaining.

pheww here goes another waste of time. I don't know why people gives 10 to this drama, it is not even 5. Very…
Well, from the cover image, synopsis, and trailer, it's clear that everything revolves around the male protagonist. I find it puzzling that there was confusion about expecting a female protagonist. The story is based on a book, and the first season barely covers half of the original plot, which suggests that many questions will be left unanswered. Most viewers (over 80%) agree that the first 10 episodes are average, but everything improves from episode 15 onwards and they get hooked. In your case, it seems it was the opposite. Of course, we all have different tastes, and that's respectable, so there's no need to question someone else's tastes just because it wasn't to your liking.

This drama is so highly rated here and there are so many positive comments. But I am into episode 10 and about…
This is my opinion on why I gave this drama a high rating. The main protagonist did an exceptional job, and the book's author even praised his performance and defended it, showing genuine appreciation for how Dylan brought Xu Quian to life. However, I don't think it's necessary to compare his performance to that of other actors. The perception of cinema is subjective, and each person has their own preferences. If the story didn't appeal to you, it's your decision whether to keep watching or not. In this space, there are thousands of comments and reviews. If you see something that's being widely loved, I don't think it's very positive to come here and make comments on why we liked the story if it's the complete opposite for you. I stress that it's subjective, but you've already seen that your way of making comments causes rejection in some way.
