They really had to mention Africa again huh? At this point it’s truly an obsession they have. It’s giving stalker. It’s giving white savior. Talking about save Africa. Save them from what??? They need to focus on their declining population and keep the motherland out of their mouths. We are tired.

I struggle watching the scenes with the mother-in law cause she traumatized me with her performance in something in the rain. She’s probably one of the worst mother in laws in Korean drama history.

I agree as well. I don’t think he was having an affair with the neighbor. I presumed that she is the baby momma of that chairman guy and he eas getting intel from her as he wants to take him down. I still believe that the person he had an affair with is the sister and she’s the one who left the door open. Something about how the neighbor at the end looked at her tells me she knows.

That’s a good point cause that kid was very nervous for some reason. The mom also looked like she has some form of information.

You do realize that one can be morally grey and still be an annoying person? The annoying behavior that he displays through out the episodes are in fact manipulation tactics in order to control his brother and get him to run the company. He even hired a photographer to follow his brother around. That is in fact insane. Annoying people don’t say I’m gonna seduce my brothers fiancé in order for him to take over the company. That is what a manipulative person does. He has a deep desire to run his families company but feels responsible for his mothers death thus he will looking to vicariously live through his brother. The reason why he comes off as extra annoying is we (the audience) understand the predicament of his closeted brother trying to hide himself in a deeply homophobic country. The FL punched him because yet again he literally hijacked a already casted show just so he could get rid of her. Another very manipulative tactic.

Wouid you say the same thing if the wife was the one cheating? I highly doubt it. If he was sleeping with someone during the 6 years she was in prison that’s a whole different conversation since technically she told him to go live his life. However, sleeping with someone who your wife considers a sister is definitely not something a man who loves or respects his wife would do. Also it’s not waiting if you are sleeping around or dating. Waiting is staying completely faithful and devoted. Also, the cheating is clearly important to the plot of the story because I believe it links back to who left the door open when the son got out. These are just assumptions btw since most of the plot hasn’t fully developed yet. We can only predict where the story is going.

I believe that picture is from the past and not the present. The reason she received that picture has to do with her son since the son of the guy she killed sent it to her. If he slept with someone after she was sentenced to jail that’s a bit different but it would still be horrible if it was her “sister”. I think she’s gonna start getting clues so that she can start investigating everything and how her son ended up outside that day.

Damn, I was really hoping that the husband would be loyal to his wife but it’s looking like the plot from why women kill. He was having an affair with her “sister” and she sneaked out the back and left the door open. When she said all the good men are taken it was giving mistress. That’s what that politician/chairman showed him to get him to back off from revealing all that info in the earlier episodes. I hope that the son of the man she killed doesn’t take revenge against her but he helps her get revenge cause his dad was a piece of shit tbh and he had it coming. As for the neighbor she 100 percent know that another woman came out of that house and she has the footage to show that she closed the door. Let’s be clear if the husband dated or had sexual partners during the 6 years she was in prison that wouldn’t be too bad because technically he was a single man as she let him go and told him to move on. I doubt that she would even have a problem with that as she understood the reality that she killed someone and was in prison. However, sleeping with her sister, adopted or not at any point is a betrayal to me personally. I couldn’t get past that cause you have millions of woman to pick from. However, since the cheating is highlighted profoundly since eps.2 it must have occurred during their marriage and specifically the day of her sons death. We shall see though.

Huh? That’s an awful comparison. You find him annoying because you don’t like his actions. He operates from a morally grey area and is willing to use everyone around him to get what he wants. Of course the FL excuses his actions she’s just like him. She herself operates from the same place he does. I’m sure as time goes by their characters will grow.

I think some of you need to get in the habit of watching certain shows with the expectation that you need to suspend reality and leave your personal morals at the door. The entire premise of the show is frankly ridiculous. Some of you are going on a tangent about how morally depraved the characters are when the story basically tells you that. At every given point it has shown how morally grey both the ML and FL are. This show is not meant to be serious for heavens sake. If you find yourself morally outraged by the premise perhaps it’s not the show for you.

How did she mistreat her husband? She was a good wife to him to the point where she even accepted abuse from his mother. In return he was having an affair the entire time and set her up to go to prison. He took her child from her and married another woman. Not to mention the whole murdering her mother. I was not a fan of how the FL was written cause she’s meant to be smart but kept doing stupid things but you can’t say she was not good to her husband. Also, they didn’t give us the background on her and the ML’s relationship so we have no idea why they broke up. Somehow you managed to turn the evil husband into some kind of victim. crazy.

I always think it’s entirely stupid when someone doesn’t have the full information and they align themselves with corrupt people who are possibly unloved themselves to target another person. Is it too much to ask that if you are seeking revenge you should at least be 100 percent sure your target is guilty.

What do we have to do to get Korean writers to leave the continent of Africa alone? Anytime they mention Africa they discuss it like it’s a country and it’s always in the context of some kind of volunteer trip. They use the same tropes and yellow filters to push the same images as the western movies/shows. 2024 and they refuse to progress when it comes to accurately depicting other cultures.

I’m so happy she killed him. The whole time he was talking I actually thought she would grab the glass from her son’s picture and stab him in the neck. The car worked fine as well. I truly don’t understand how that man was legally able to avoid any punishment. You can drive recklessly, hit a child, and abandon the child and not serve a single day of prison. I’m starting to understand why there are so many vigilante justice dramas. The public trashing her house and calling her a murder in the trailer for the next eps. is crazy as well. Your justice system just let a child murder run free to pick up cake and you want to be mad that a grieving mother did what she had to do. I think they might go the why women kill route. In that show the husband was having an affair and the mistress left the door open on her way out. The husband was entirely too suspicious when she returned. He might be having an affair and the mistress went out the back and left the door open. I just hope that it’s not the home girl cause I’m paranoid it’s always the friend/sister in these type of dramas. For sure that lady across the street is suspicious. She knows something or saw something. we shall see.

Yea there’s a big difference unless they put him in high school. Most people don’t mind age gaps as long as they are both adults. Not a high schooler with a backpack and a school uniform in every episode.

I’m sorry but who greenlit this drama? We are gonna create a show about a bipolar woman who is drugged and raped by her best friend’s dirt bag boyfriend. The type of drug the culprit uses leaves the victim with no memory. The FL will get pregnant from that assault and believe that the child’s father is her husbands. The husband finds out he is not the father and begins to emotionally and mentally torture his wife by starting an affair with her best friend and gaslights her. Obviously, that’s not enough torture for the female lead. She gets betrayed by her best friend who is in fact a vile, dispicable, pathetic woman who believes that her friend getting raped got in the way of her perfect life. Mind you her boyfriend based on that elevator scene was a repeat offender. This man admitted to drugging women on the regular with no care in the world. This is the man the best friend wanted to create a future with. Any sane woman would thank the heavens that they would not have to be tied down do such an awful person but not this lady. She decides to take revenge against her friend and essentially start murdering the people around her including her husband. I hope we never see a storyline like this again. Nobody wants to see a rape victim getting abused for being raped. I hope something happens to that boyfriend and a report is done detailing all his victims and that stupid woman see that.

yea and not telling him about finding the recording devices in his clinic until mid trial is wild as hell. Imagine, you find evidence like that and somehow you fail to share that? If it’s not anything crazy it’s one of those situations where he hates seeing his friend succeed compared to his own life.

I think the case was solved quickly because I don’t think the show is meant to be a murder mystery. In almost all healing dramas they always throw in a murder and it becomes the central focus point of the whole show. I’m glad they didn’t go that route and will instead focusing on them healing and growing as people. I don’t think every storyline needs a million different plots going at the same time. I can’t wait to see what they do next in the story. I would love to see the 4 doctor friends working together. Also that friend is mad shady. He was way too nervous in court and is praying on the downfall of the ML.

Watching episode 18 and the FL’s mother is actually deranged. Based on the scenes we saw from the past it looked like he was 13-15 when he had that dispute with his teacher. Harboring a grudge against a child when you were not even the referee during his match is crazy. I’m not aware of the context yet for why he ran off like that but basing his entire character off of something he did as a child is very difficult to understand. My heart broke for the ML when he tried to greet the mother and she responded so disgustingly. Also the sister is bad vibes as well. Her and the mom speak in the same condescending tone. I’m not gonna lie the FL actually annoyed me in this episode. You just saw your mother essentially humiliate and dismiss your boyfriend and you decide to be all in your feelings about nothing instead of comforting and apologizing to him. They always write the FL’s to be childish and terrified of even the most remote physical affection. instead of establishing their boundaries verbally like grown adult they spend half the season jumping anytime the ML gets too close for comfort.

I never said the FL didn’t make mistakes. Both of them behaved inappropriately at different times. He was neglectful during the first episodes while she was attentive. However, she was bad at commmunicating her needs effectively to the ML. Neither of them should have been entertaining other people and going to hotels period. You guys are the ones that turned this into a weird gender war when it’s suppose to be a representation of how a relationship of 13 years can break down. If you are sitting around trying to determine who was worst and who did what you are missing the point of the show.
