It’s not understandable in my opinion because it was an accident. Not to mention it’s not like he just moved on. It something that has psychologically impacted him so much so that he can’t even touch a person’s hand. Not to mention if she loved his bother in any capacity no chance would he want his brother to live a torturous life. so she’s also dishonoring her husbands loved ones by emotionally torturing his family. She’s also harming her own daughter by trying to force her to hate the only father figure she has. She’s mentally unwell and I don’t understand her at all. That’s an interesting therapy tbh and would make more sense as to why she’s behaving the way she is.

He didnt agree to run the company he agreed to work there in exchange for his mother getting a divorce. Thats why she was able to create a team of “losers” to undermine him o he doesn’t move up the ranks. But he was rarely showing up to work cause he had no true ambitions to work in said company. If the sister behaved normally she could have been eventually running things. I think the ending was fine to me. it has a million tropes of course but I’m used to kdramas having mediocre endings. Especially on Netflix. If you don’t go in with high expectations the drama will be a fun watch.

I wish that the trope with the secretly in love best friend could be wiped from this earth. As soon as they see the ML/FL moving on they decide it’s time to share how they really feel. why can’t the friend group just stay friends????? The storyline with the sister in law makes no sense. She’s severally mentally unwell and should get therapy asap. So she doesn’t want him to work? she doesn’t want him to have a child or get married. Why doesn’t she just kill him?

yea but despite what the dad wants the brother hasn’t really shown any real interest in the family company. he created his own company and the only thing he wanted was his mom.

for me personally it was a decent watch. nothing spectacular about it. I was mostly interested in finding out about the murder. the couple was just not doing it for me. They had no chemistry in my opinion. Also I just couldn’t connect with the fan girl aspect cause I personally view it as a mental illness. It’s not normal to be that obsessed with strangers. I can’t get past her being that much of a fan girl and them dating it’s just too weird for me. Nevertheless it’s a mindless watch.

I know but I’ve seen it happen so many times in kdramas about parents signing things in regards to their adult children. Don’t know how it’s even a possibility and why a company would even do that knowing that it wouldn’t hold up in court.

I’m catching up and in episode 6 it said that the mom signed a contract for the son. I’ve noticed this before in kdramas but how is it possible for parents to sign things on behalf of their adult children? minors I understand but is there no legal adult age in Korea? How can possible be valued to sign a company contact and receive payment without authorization of the adult in question.

I just finished episode 4 and I’m so confused as to why the sister is so hateful to the ML and why she’s in competition with him when it’s so clear that he is literally disinterested in the family company. No one that’s interested in inheriting the family business starts their own business. Even the deal he made with his dad is proof enough he doesn’t want the job.

Title To My Beloved Thief Spoiler
I’m sorry but there is no redemption for the SML. He is just as disgusting as his father and brother. He was going to burn vulnerable people to death. He knew there was women and children in there. Even the other men hesitated and didn’t like the idea of killing those people but he wanted to keep going. Anbody that defends his character is just one of those loser fans that can’t separate actor from their character. What annoys me about this show is that the FL is suppose to be a badass character but they have been writing her as a damsel in distress to be constantly saved by the ML all the time. We would have love to seen her save herself from that arrow but no the prince has to be the hero.

In later eps male lead will not married with fl. Because sfl will married with male lead. That's, what I heard.…
There’s absolutely no possible way that this story can be based in history. I mean it has fantasy elements of body switching and a woman portraying an infamous thief. What part of this story can possibly be rooted in historical accuracies. This is a fake story and if the ML gets engaged to the second lead it would only make sense in that his mother saw them together and the SFL has feelings for who she thinks the ML is.

I’m sorry but Jae I is an incredibly annoying character. We are going into the 8th episode now and all we have seen from him is violence and anger. He lashes out at the FL because she chooses to make the best out of the circumstances of her life and all he does is sit around saying woe is me. As for thr ML is not crazy to ask for marriage now when you have an enemy trying to destroy you? Get the enemy out of the way first before anything else. I hate to say this but I feel like the FL and ML lack chemistry and the SFL and him kind of have better chemistry and the FL and SML have better chemistry. doesn’t mean I won’t them to be together though. I think SML is a violent angry men that should heal before Ben considering romance.

Just finished eps.3 and I can’t put my finger on it but I feel like the drama is missing something. Is it chemistry? idk but I wish Korean writers would understand that the leads don’t always need a dark history. It’s okay to have a light drama. The co-workers were annoying & they just let the FL deal with the leaking of the beer product on her own. The sister in laws is annoying and I honestly could do with out her completely. The best friend remained silent about his feelings but now that he sees her having a life he wants to barge in. Way too many annoying characters and not enough of the ML and FL interacting.

even if they were attracted to each other they interacted in the first stage like friends. Had normal conversations and were able to be in close proximity without any awkwardness. They were able to smoothly transition from friends to lovers cause they built a genuine friendship and trust. In a lot of dramas men and women don’t usually interact so normally like this. There’s always a level of awkwardness and tension. Not to mention they are so jumpy whenever there’s any physical contact. Sometimes it feels like they have never interacted with the opposite gender before.

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
My favorite aspect of this drama is that the ML and FL really become friends in the early stages. They actually interacted like two humans. In Asian dramas when men and women interact it’s always so awkward and everyone is on edge. Not to mention they jump anytime there’s any causal touching or interactions. In this drama they were able to share space and just be normal with each other. In fact everyone including the best friend just moved around each other so normally. Very light and enjoyable drama.

Okay. I still don’t understand what this has to do with my review. I don’t know what she has since there was no professional diagnosis done on the show. Either way this does not change the way I feel overall about the show. It was fine but it wasn’t amazing. I don’t enjoy shows where the genre is not clear and the show is is marketed as light and fun but it’s heavy. kind of reminds me of love next door where everyone thought it was gonna be fun and light but instead it turned out to be a melodrama with a cancer storylines. let’s agree to disagree on our review of this show. good bye.

I can still have my personal taste and see the characters as complex people. I didn’t think the mental health aspect of the drama was dealt with in a realistic, professional and medical way. I thought the ML’s character was kind of one dimensional but the FL’s character was more complex and interesting. Nonethless I didn’t like the overall plot. I think it started to lose its steam around episode 8. if you love the plot and characters so much that’s wonderful but please accept that there are others that didn’t enjoy the story as much as you did. Have a wonderful day.

You do realize it’s impossible for one to be objective in a review? Of course my personal taste is going to impact how I feel overall about a drama. Just because I mentioned that the FL was cute doesn’t mean that that’s all I think she was. The cuteness was in reference to her pursuit of the ML. The fact that the FL was so endearing was the reason I push through with completing the drama. Again, everyone is entitled to their opinions about how the show made them feel.

I don’t even know what that means. This doesn’t need to turn into some test. it’s important to understand that everyone interprets and enjoy shows in this world differently. If you loved and enjoyed this show that’s beautiful. It doesn’t mean that everyone needs to feel the same way as you did.
