She is not the first woman in the world to love a bad man. Love can make people blind.šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø
it’s not just about loving a bad man. It’s also making horrible financial decisions. She essentially provided emotional, financial and god knows what else support and received little to nothing back from him. The man’s family literally treated her and her mother like trash as if he was the one supporting her. She willingly ignored all of the red flags just because she had invested time in him already and didn’t want to start over.

Title Would You Marry Me? Spoiler
just finished episode 5 and these are my following observations: 1. it’s insane to me how awful that aunt is considering it was her brother that died. Even her son is kinder than she is. 2. the craziest thing for me to understand in kdramas is when the family says it’s the child’s fault for when a parent dies. Like if the kid asks his parents to take him to the store and they die on the way the child gets blamed for their death. Do they not believe that death is just apart of life. They always seem like they need someone to accuse in kdrama land. Like if the dad turned around at his big age that’s his fault cause every driver knows they need to keep their eyes on the road. Is it not already bad enough the kid lost both of his parents. I’ve seen this in so many dramas. I know y’all might say people grieve differently but sending your grandchild away is the biggest disservice you can do to the dead parents. 3. The doctor knew he liked someone for so long and he literally shows zero interest in him don’t understand why she wants to express her feelings to him now. 4. The entitlement of the uncle to steal and kill for a company that doesn’t even belong to him is crazy. How many people did the man kill at this point. The family is gonna be at a lost when they find out he killed so many people. 5. Ugh somebody please send the white truck of doom for the ex.

When she registered her marriage she didn't know he was cheating .. and when she find it.. she broke up with him..
yea but she knew in her gut that something was off but she still kept going. She paid for and planned every single aspect of this man life. He didn’t even respect her enough to at least be there with her and spent every moment pretending to be at work. This means that she pretty much overlooked every red flag just to continue with this sham of a relationship. Not to mention her in laws probably were treating her like shit the whole time. Now that she still legally married that nasty family will want to claim that house as well.

Title Would You Marry Me? Spoiler
Just watched episode 4 and the FL basically raised her ex-husband. Paid for his education, the apartment, the honeymoon. What exactly did this man even contribute to their relationship? They barely saw each other nor did he make anytime for her and spent the last year cheating on her but she still went ahead and registered her marriage. The ML was stunned at her stupidity. Like she’s responsible for all the chaos she’s currently experiencing.

I am already dreading her ex coming back. I just know him and his money hungry family is gonna show up at some point and I’m already annoyed by it. Also that actor has the face of an annoying character.

The FL character in annoying to me with her lack of situational awareness and bad decisions. How she first coerced…
Her desperate actions are always linked to her mothers phone calls. She borrowed money from her hard working mother only for her to be divorced and scammed.

Just finished watching this drama and up to episode 10 the show was fairly light. I love food so I enjoyed all the cooking on the show. I will have to say the King wasn’t the smartest tool in the box. Why did he agree to the cooking competition with the Ming chefs knowing that guy would never be impartial. If you are looking for an amazing romantic story this ain’t it. The FL and ML have zero chemistry. I didn’t even think she liked him until she said so like in episode 10 or something. The ministers wanted to get rid of a violent king by signing up to be ruled by an even more violent power hungry man. The FL knowing the future didn’t even tell the king about the evil consort. Just all around useless lol. nonetheless it’s a fun mostly light watch. Please don’t expect some sort of grand romance or intelligent political show. This is a good watch for when you don’t want to be emotionally invested in a show and just kind of want something to watch that’s visually appealing.

It's just haters who have ran out of excuses, grasping at straws to find a reason to justify their hate, like…
Time travel is a complicated subject and almost always incredibly difficult to explain. The highlight of the story was the romance and the time travel was mearly a device to bring the couple together. That’s why in majority of Korean dramas they rarely ever explain how the main leads are able to travel. In Twinking Watermelon we don’t know how he was able to travel. Same with marry my husband, moon lovers, Mr queen etc… None of these dramas went into details on how they were able to travel but just had a few rules here and there they needed to follow. Even in Tunnel we had no idea how he was able to go to the future just by going into a tunnel. It’s not the time travel that’s necessarily important it’s the story we should be focusing on. It was easier to explain for example in My perfect stranger as it was not some mystical time travel but one based on technology.

you are not really suppose to care about the rules or the intricacies of the time travel tbh. It’s why the show never provided too many details outside of the watch and she can’t share information directly from the future. It was just a plot device to get the characters together. I think you are suppose to watch a cute story and not do too much thinking.

Title Love's Ambition Spoiler
I enjoyed this drama a lot. Everyone just looked so expensive and attractive I was living for it. Now my girl crush on Zhao Lu Si has increased even more. She really is that girl. Beautiful and talented. I was a little sad that shen Hao wasn’t his biological son and I kind of hated that he wasn’t there at the end of the Episode. Feng Li was so gross omg. imagine wanting to be with your deceased sisters boyfriend. The sister was Arely in the ground and she was making plans to be with her man. so much so that instead of helping to raise her sisters child and depraving her parents of their grandchild she faked his paternity. She caused her sisters child so much pain just to be with a man that literally did not like her. Pretending to kill herself like what was wrong with her. I’m always shocked btw when rich families don’t run multiple test on the children. The mom is so specific so it’s hard to believe she didn’t double check. Nontheless it was a fun show that didn’t require too much brain cells. I like shows that I don’t need to think about.

With how unlikable the FL is, so far i see the FL and her ex as a perfect fit. He cheats and she is a serial liar.
I don’t think she’s unlikeable she’s just more pathetic and lacks self worth to me. I don’t believe she’s a serial liar she only lied so she could take advantage of the system. When people are scammed they usually resort to desperate measures. especially the guilt she feels cause it’s not even just her money but her hard working mother. I’m not gonna even front if an opportunity like that came to me where I won an expensive home I would move mountains. Especially in this economy. I can judge her for the trash husband she picked but I can judge her for trying to get this house. Mind you it was the company that was also cheating so…..

How do the FL’s always date/Marry the worst type of men in the first couple of episodes. Like that man had zero redeeming qualities how did she date him for 5 years? not to mention both his mother and sister are equally as disgusting. It’s one of the more unbelievable tropes especially when in later episodes that disgusting partner decides out of nowhere they want to get back with the FL/ML. That greedy family is for sure gonna try to come back later.

He's got potential, he did all that was possible given a poorly constructed narrative, terrible script which,…
I’m honestly gonna have to see him in another role to make a proper judgement of his acting. I just never felt anything with his character. just kind of there and very empty. it could be the script so I will need to see more of him to make a proper judgement.

I actually loved how Dex played the trauma bonded emotionally numb villian
I personally didn’t see any trauma bonding. We seen one flash back between him and the evil lady so it makes zero sense why he is so loyal to her. He seemed more like a mindless robot to me. We never really understood why he was the way he was even. I think characters like that require a backstory and an excellent actor.

the show was overall really interesting although I think it lost itself a little at the end. one thing about c-dramas and k-dramas is that it starts of really well but the story becomes crazy at the end. Dex’s character was really empty. He literally gave nothing. It seemed like he had a connection to the little girl but ultimately nothing came of it. The deep connection he has with the evil lady didn’t make any sense. The acting was very bad compared to how talented the rest of the actors were. They should have given the role to a real actor.

It’s kind of hard watching the actor that plays the priest knowing he took his own life recently. Korea losing all their talented entertainers to suicide is heart breaking. They really should reevaluate their society.

The kids have ā€œparentsā€ that are high profile. I hope at some point they decide to make videos and post them all over the internet. if everyone found out all these kids who were pronounced dead or missing were still alive it would cause massive attention. This makes killing then even harder.
