I’m struggling to get the tv version via iPhone. Is the another way to subscribe to it without google play?
Yeah, unfortunately MangoTV is the only one where I have to mirror my phone to the TV. For the other Chinese streaming apps, I can just use the TV app directly.
I agree though. The only exception is iQIYI. It’s the most expensive, but honestly the Premium VIP is probably the most worth it. You get all the dramas and don’t need to pay extra for express episodes. 👏

I just checked it for you.😊 MangoTV has multiple subscriptions for phones, tablets, etc., and a separate subscription for streaming on a smart TV that costs $36.99 for 12 months. They’re definitely greedy for an app like MangoTV.🙄
Payment was only available through a credit/debit card.

I haven’t tried purchasing it on an iPhone, but I believe it works the same way. Download MangoTV on your iPhone, create an account, then go to ‘Me’ your Profile then VIP Membership. Payment is through Apple ID. You can later log in on your TV using a QR code. 😅
Not sure if anyone’s interested, but right now MangoTV has an Annual VIP deal (up to 60% OFF €16.99 for 12 months). Tbh worth it for me lol.👀 Just a heads up, the quality isn’t quite like WeTV or iQIYI app, but they do have some great dramas (long length and short) from time to time. They also have tons of variety shows, though those aren't really my thing. 😅
ITA about "See Your Love"... not sure how or why this got produced. As one comment stated, they thought…
Right!! 😅 I think they hoped a great director could save it, but the material was still lacking. Tbh I really liked the story idea from the synopsis, so it’s a bit sad it didn’t fully capture the emotions of grief, healing, and accepting new love. 🥲 Wishing the band success 🤞 Hopefully their management focuses more on the music lol. I understand your decision 🤭 But in the end, everyone has their own preferences. I’m sure there are people who enjoyed it 😊
I was wondering how I even found out about this drama lol. Then I remembered the director, Chiang Ping Chen, also directed (See Your Love 2024❤️). I totally recommend that one it was really good.
I don’t have a lot to say about this one. I put it on hold after episode 4 and waited for it to finish airing, but I guess I lost interest 😕. However, I hate leaving things unfinished, so I watched the last episode. The idea behind the story is actually really good and emotional, but the drama itself failed to deliver it properly. 🥲
Everyone complaining about the production which I don't see lol. It seems like I have no eye for detail/art.....…
I agree, the production and editing look good😁👏, but the dubbing is the same issue. I hate the exaggerated screaming, and some characters sound like they were dubbed with short drama standards😬
MangoTV has 8 episodes available, and only 3 are free . Viki is a bit behind on releasing episodes though, they only have 5 episodes available, with 2 free.
I’ll mainly watch this for Wu Jin Yan. I adore her acting, no matter what role she takes, she always delivers👏❤️. Although, the drama I’m most looking forward to from her is Nirvana in Flames. I can’t wait to watch it.
I have to say, I hate when Cdramas show children getting hurt... 🥲 The FL is not weak, and I love how she stood up for herself and fought back against those girls who tried to bully her.🤭👏❤️ I loved episode 1.
The whole Durian scene was waaaaaay too long. I mean, sure it's probably "exotic" for the time but I don't…
Yes 😅🤭 food is a famous part of the original drama. FL made many more dishes. For example, instead of making unripe fried durian, she made unripe mango (sour mango with Nam Pla Wan dipping sauce).
So What is the future of AugustLeng Ship? Is Love Destiny (2026) popular like the original drama? Or AugustLeng…
It’s doing well in Thailand, but I’m not sure if it’s as popular as the original. BL dramas usually perform well, but their TV viewership might not be as high as other drama genres. That’s just what I know though, so I could be wrong. Popularity doesn’t always mean a fixed pairing or more projects together since it depends on the actors and opportunities. For example, PanPond from drama Reset were popular during airing but didn’t continue as a fixed ship. I can't lie I enjoy seeing actors explore different pairings, but I’d still love to see AugustLeng work together again. ❤️

Also Royal Betrothal is so good so far! 👏🔥🔥
