MEANING those who still like Lu Feng disregard the SA and that's why
1. Most comments I read here were people being okay with Lu Feng and that's why I said, "The fact that a large amount of people here is okay with the SA is highly alarming."
Like if you still like Lu Feng that means you're okay with SA? Which is highly alarming don't you agree?

2. I think those who support Lu Feng are abnormal that's why... for normal people, SA is a huge deal in the real world, fake world, fiction, whatever you might label it.

3. I'm just repeating what I have been saying. Liking Lu feng after what he's done is abnormal.
If SAing someone you love passes as normal to you and half the comment section, to the point where y'all are rooting for this romance, then congratulations, I guess.

I'm not wishing for him to be a green flag. I'll still continue watching this drama coz I want to know how the relationship between Yichen and Lu Feng will be in the end. The SA and accepting the character was my main issue. Call me the moral police for all I care, but still loving Lu Feng's character after what he did to Yichen is just abnormal.

If you feel this way, then I don't get why we are having this convo back and forth. My problem is with the people who still fully love Lu Feng despite him acting that way... Enjoying a toxic show is fine and if you didn’t know, I’m literally enjoying the drama too. Fiction can explore dark themes, messy characters, and toxic relationships. That’s not the issue here.
The MAIN point is people rooting for a character that SA’d the person they supposedly love.

Well, if you didn’t actually read the comment properly, it literally says people excuse SA and take it lightly in fiction. The comment is pointing out SA being the reason why most people are homophobic. It’s not about calling toxic BLs homophobic or whatever you were talking about.
It's JUST about SA😃And yes, I’m also talking about SA here, not homophobia, if you didn't know.
I can separate fiction from reality perfectly fine. I can enjoy morally dark stories, murder and serial killer plots for revenge arcs and whatnot, because those usually have clear motives, buildup, and consequences. That’s the point of fiction exploring dark themes.
But spare me the nonsense. Murder in fiction at least has narrative logic like revenge or survival. But SA here? Because the guy wanted to quit his damn job? Just because Yichen wanted to leave? Did he sign up for this? Like can we be serious, like really.
And “I still root for him” doesn’t automatically mean “I support SA in real life,” sure. I don't support murder in real life either. But you’re still normalizing or romanticizing SA within the story, and that’s the part I am questioning. I am fully focusing on the story.

Are you literally dumb or are you just intentionally missing the point for fun? Because nowhere did I say people were PRAISING Lu Feng for it. I said people are barely criticizing him for it, which is very different. You keep acting like I’m against toxic fiction altogether. Please. Toxic romances have existed forever, and people can watch whatever they want. Not every romance story needs flowers and sunshine. But SA is where a line should magically appear for most normal people. Crazy concept, I know.
Read a comment saying "no matter what Lu Feng does, I’ll still root for him, and I'll never hate him" then what exactly am I supposed to interpret that as? Because to me, it sounds like SA just isn’t a dealbreaker for them as long as they like the character enough.
Nobody’s saying fiction can’t be dark or disturbing. The issue is how casually people brush off certain actions like they’re minor things. SA is such a huge deal. Well not for you tho. Coz this is just fiction.

Even though he read the message, he still told Yichen that Lu Feng was going abroad. And still at the end of the day, he helped Yichen get out of the room where he was literally LOCKED IN to go see Lu Feng although it was too late.
He's not playing victim he's just trying to defend his brother against douchebag Lu Feng. The brother might have not used the correct approach, but he was just trying to help Yichen. I absolutely love how he confronted Lu Feng

After reading these comments I think I'm the only one who has a problem... I'm at ep9 currently and I'm just crashing out coz they are rage baiting me. Shilan depending on Zhaoxi is just driving me insane. And he's ruining her reputation too. First, he sold her out, Shilan is a snitch now. Lots of room for gossip.

She gained an ounce of courage, lowering her pride to go apologize to that disgusting man Chief Huang. Zhaoxi comes and ruins it all. Saying that he sent her... Like Wth... All her efforts down the drain just like that. And then zhaoxi makes a scene now Huang is pissed with her more, whole department knows that they can't go against Shilan coz president Zhaoxi has her back. Like she fully depends on him now. She can't have her name to herself.

Couldn't he protect her in secret? Without causing her to lose her reputation😭I get that he's a green flag, I just hate how much trust Shilan has in him. Esp after all he has done.
