Very Bad Writing, Watched it for the Second Leads
I think the main leads had chemistry, and I enjoyed the drama a lot in the first two episodes. But the story just jumped the rails and got bogged down in boring subplots. There is the whole parents' accident, company going downhill drama, then the Ex-boyfriend and another company drama, along with all the Romcom scenes. That really doesn't add up. K-drama RomCom writing has been really bad lately. (like in the case of Tastefully Yours, again, another wasted potential) The childhood plot was also uncalled for and boring. Because of this, I think we never really saw any buildup to their relationship, which made their chemistry bland. On the other hand, I really loved the Second Lead couple; they had intense chemistry and a good storyline overall. I would have enjoyed their slow-burn romance if not for the lack of screen time with no closure. Was this review helpful to you?

A well-written story from the beginning to end
One thing that I didn't like about romcoms lately is the unnecessary focus on the company drama, where it is the same dynamic with predictable endings. But this drama really hit the balance and made sure not to drag all of that. The love triangle was also addressed before it got any messier. And all the things that could have gone wrong, considering all the failed recent romcoms, this drama was well-written till the end.A good balance of romance and comedy, with a little overlook at company politics, it was a fulfilling watch. The leads had amazing chemistry, and all the characters had amazing character arcs.

Exceeded my expectations, one of the best but so underrated !!!
It is one of the best C-dramas I have ever watched and should get the same level of recognition as WIFTY and HL. It is insane why people are sleeping on this. This show is far from all the usual clichés and is a show full of life lessons. I loved the school times and it shows how people could evolve but still not turn back on their roots and value the little things in life. I absolutely loved the lead couple, they were like two peas in a pod. (kind of wish there were more scenes of them together)If, I had one complaint that would be how Qi Qi's storyline was dealt with. I understand that she was extremely insecure from the beginning and it is realistic that she and Song Kong broke up, but being a main character on the show, we don't really see how she achieved her closure like Song Kong did. She disappears after the break up and reappears at the end. I personally did not like her character, but would have really loved to see how she would have grown out of her insecurity and be better at handling relationships
