It's so ridiculous that you expect to see dusty places or real dirty cloths in Xian Xia world, like you see Westerners…
They are living in mortal world now despite the xianxia setting so yeah some choice can be made to reflect it. No issue with liking demon, just note the big bad lord + fairy/goddess love troope has being used several times recently. Sure the producer spend a lot of money and energy as everyone look beautiful and every clothing looks grand but I find it distracting when the male lead always wear something lordly but then went I always abused and eat this bad food to survive this household. Which part of the fight & effect should I praise? the standard slow montion sword pointing? Large fiery demon, tree trunk and crow attack that all look gamey? Score will be updated until I finish or drop this series (the two main lead interaction is the only thing keeping me interested for now). Also I am not the one that watch all c-drama out there, this one got me because youku hyping it on youtube and the trailer looks good despite everyone have bloody mouth in it.
