Revenged Love went from 9 to 8.6 in one hour? š¤¦āāļø Thatās suspicious AF. Either someoneās orchestrating a hate campaign or a wave of trolls just rolled in.
A bunch of people who didnāt even watch it, just jumping on a bandwagon to downvote. So frustrating when genuinely good content gets dragged like that.
Considering there are over 700+ BLs listed on MDL, ranking this high is no small feat.
Revenged Love even reached a 9/10 rating a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately dropped due to a wave of fake reviews.
From Episode 1, I was hooked. Time travel, mystery, and heartbreak all wrapped in one stunning BL.
Pond and Peterpanās chemistry is unreal ā from the tender beach kiss to the unforgettable pool scene š, every moment was electric.
The 1999 vibes, the emotional twists, the love scenes, the finale⦠perfection.
Iāll miss Mondays with Reset ā this series will stay with me for a long time.
1. Thiuthit as the mastermind ā Throughout the series, he kept calling Thada his ābrother,ā but in the end, he said, āWhy donāt you love me, but Armin instead?ā
If theyāre not biological brothersāwhether theyāre stepbrothers or brothers from different mothersāwas the āloveā Thiuthit was referring to meant as brotherly love or romantic love?
2. What happened to Ren? ā His fate was never fully clear to me by the end.
Can anyone clarify these points?
Yes, Tuo is the one initiating most of the kisses, but if you really watch closely, Jun Xi never shows signs of being uncomfortable. He hesitates at firstāprobably out of surprise, since itās his best friend making a moveābut he doesnāt push Tuo away. In fact, he either leans in or reciprocates after the initial shock. Thatās not āforcedā; thatās natural progression from surprise to acceptance.
Romanceāespecially in BLāoften uses nonverbal consent as part of the tension and storytelling. If every kiss had to be preceded by a verbal āCan I kiss you?ā like a legal contract, the emotional impact and chemistry would disappear. Itās the same in most romance dramas, BL or not. For example:
In 2gether the Series, Sarawat leaned in for his first kiss with Tine without asking, and it became iconic.
In Semantic Error, Jae Young kissed Sang Woo unexpectedly, but it was clear Sang Woo wasnāt traumatizedāhe was just flustered.
Revenged Love (Chinese BL) ā Youāre watching it right now. Chi Cheng has kissed and initiated intimacy with Wu Suo Wei several times. Did he ever ask first? Nope. Mutual signals, yes.
Even in Western series like Bridgerton or The Vampire Diaries, passionate kisses almost never start with a verbal requestāthey rely on mutual energy.
To me, the kisses in this series feel intentional, not forced. Tuo initiates, but Jun Xi acceptsāthatās mutual, nonverbal consent. I think itās a realistic portrayal of how romance often unfolds naturally.
Tonight, the storm finally arrives.
Episode 18 carries the scent of heartbreakā
inevitable, heavy,
like a glass shattering in slow motion.
Chi Chengās heartā¦
shattered into a thousand pieces. š
Think about his painā
A father who ripped away his beloved pet.
A love he thought unbreakable,
seven years of trustā
all tainted by the vision of Wang Shuo
entwined with his best friend.
Then comes Yue Yue, gilded in wealth,
and Wu Suo Wei, the one bright star,
pure and gentleā¦
Until the book is foundā
a cold ledger of manipulation,
a blueprint of betrayal,
a stepābyāstep manual
on how to destroy his heart.
If I were Chi Cheng,
I would crumble too.
Completely.
The breakup is inevitable,
but I choose to believe in the beauty of the fall.
Name one love story that became iconic
without breaking us first?
Call Me by Your Name.
La La Land.
Even in real life,
hearts crack before they heal stronger.
My own sister left her husband
over the shadows of his gamblingā
and six months apart
turned longing into redemption.
Now, they are unshakable.
So yes, Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei will part.
Tears will come.
We will ache.
But when love returns after the stormā
it will roar.
The chemistry, the passion,
the way theyāll fall into each other againā
it will be electric, unstoppable, unforgettable. ā”ļø
Sometimes love must walk through fire
to return as something deeper,
something unbreakable.
Even though filming is already complete, the series canāt be released because of the BL ban in China.
And if they try to sell it to international platforms, theyāll end up taking a loss.
For comparison:
KinnPorsche (Thai BL) ā 173,252 comments
Immortality (Chinese censored BL) ā hasnāt even released yet and already has 107,519 comments
Bad Buddy (Thai BL) 55,678 comments
So yeah⦠18k is barely a warm-up. š
By your logic, if Korean actors are considered the most attractive, then every Kādrama should automatically be āthe bestā even without a solid plotābut the truth is, great dramas are remembered for their stories, not just pretty faces.
In Episode 10, Chi Cheng already told Wu Suo Wei that he doesnāt love his ex anymore. Let me ask youāhow would you feel if your partner of 7+ years (someone youāve known for over 10) cheated on you, disappeared without a word, and then came back only to complicate things furtherālike showing those videos to Wu Suo Wei?
You make it sound so simple, but itās not. What difference would it really make if Chi Cheng said those words again in Episode 17? He has already said multiple times in earlier episodes that he no longer has feelings for his ex.
Chi Cheng isnāt immatureāheās traumatized. Heās navigating betrayal, manipulation, and broken trust. Expecting him to act like nothing happened or to deliver closure perfectly on cue is unrealistic.
Chi Cheng couldnāt give Wang Shuo closure because heās carrying seven years of betrayal and trauma. He believes his ex cheated with his best friend. And now heās discovering that Wu Suo Weiāsomeone he thought was pure and genuineāwas secretly plotting against him.
Heās not the root cause of all the problemsāheās the product of all that pain.
Closure isnāt just saying words. For someone like Chi Cheng, whoās been broken multiple times, closure is something he has to earn for himself first before he can give it to anyone else.
Donāt you want to see your friend fight back and argue with my strong points? Iāve got a whole essay ready for the Chi Cheng defense squad!
Heās not cold. Heās wounded.
He deserves happiness because his journey isnāt about choosing between two peopleāitās about whether he can heal and learn to love again. š
So yeah, Iāll fight anyone who says Chi Cheng doesnāt deserve happiness! š¤
Chi Cheng doesnāt give a direct answerāhe simply kicks Wang Shuo out the door.
Many viewers see this and wonder:
Why is Chi Cheng still thinking about his ex?
Why is he dating Wu Suo Wei if heās still in love with Wang Shuo?
But it isnāt that simple.
Chi Cheng isnāt in love with his ex anymoreāheās haunted by betrayal and trauma.
His father took his beloved pet.
He believes his best friend betrayed him.
And now, heās facing the crushing truth that Wu Suo Weiāsomeone he thought was pure and genuineāwas secretly plotting against him.
Heās carrying scars, not love.
Thatās why his walls are so high.
His journey isnāt about choosing between two peopleāitās about whether he can learn to trust and love again.
Remember, he believes his ex cheated with his best friend, and they were together for over 7 years.
Even in real life, you canāt just erase someone you spent that long with, especially when betrayal is involved.
Wu Suo Wei has only been in his life for a few monthsācompare that to 7+ years of history, trust, and heartbreak.
Itās unrealistic to expect Chi Cheng to just āforgetā overnight.
His struggle isnāt about wanting his ex backā
Itās about healing from deep wounds before he can truly let someone new in. š
Chi Chengās pain is exactly what makes this story so raw and human. š

But Yue Yue has now appeared twice, including at the end of episode 17.
That moment was Wu Suo Weiās chance to be honest with Chi Cheng.
To clear the air.
Instead⦠he covered it up.
Chi Cheng feels betrayed ā especially after everything heās done.
All those days quietly caring for Wu Suo Weiās sick motherā¦
And now, to find out the truth on his own, without a single word of explanation ā
Itās just another painful miscommunication.
And the worst part?
Tomorrow, weāre bracing for a brutal breakup.
One that mightāve been avoided with just a little honesty.
But in the Episode 18 preview⦠I honestly feel so sorry for Chi Cheng.
Think about it:
His father took away his beloved pet.
He believes Wang Shuo cheated on him with his best friend.
Then comes Yue Yue, born into money.
And just when he thought Wu Suo Wei was the purest and most genuine of them allā¦
He discovers the book.
A stepābyāstep plan of manipulation and revenge.
If I were Chi Cheng, I would feel completely betrayed and shattered. š
