My theory is that when FLs take care of their exes and sacrifice their careers for them, they get punished by scumbag men. But when they focus on themselves, their work, and don’t want any men in their lives, suddenly they get perfect men , not only the ML but also the SML , all CEOs and handsome men chasing after them 🤣😅. So the message seems to be: don’t treat men too well, and they’ll chase you. Don’t be a traditional partner just raise your standards to the sky and don't do anything like taking care of your boyfriend or ever wake up earlier and make him breakfast , let him do that always don't help act like a princess never know how to boil an egg 😅😅. You can see that when an FL does more for the ML, most viewers don’t like it. For example, the FL in your profile many don’t like her because she was a good girlfriend who supported the ML, sacrificed for him, helped him succeed again, and just wanted him to be happy , and tolerate his bad side when he wants to push her away ( it's one of my favorite Cdramas I rewatch it when I want to see a good fl that love ml for real with the fl on my profile too 🙂) .

why they humiliating mls in kdramas like this like fls have choices and she trying others while mls fall from first second and tolerate everything and have no dignity waiting she chose him as a second choice!?

and one big thing that makes her flop it is the annoying stupid love like she can't choose a kdrama without a bunch of simps running after her

he's the ml in the romantic plot ml is just the annoying man that have no dignity obsessed with someone that don't love him 😅🤣🤣🤣🙃

1988 sml win by. second and she was loving ml even after she get with sml , win her not making him a ml , he wins just because the ml was a coward or she was ready to run to him if she see even a little effort 😅🤣🤣

it's so humiliating for aan to be kikythis mls that get happy that they're second choices and tolerate humiliation from sml because if they say anything they lose the chance with fl , an it's soo fake for fls to change at the end and say she always was loving ml and sml was just a past a she's just a second ago was dreaming about him 🙃🙃🙃🤦🤦

So if it's not simping and it's considered a good thing, why don’t FLs do it toward MLs as well? Why do they always focus on more important things like their careers, education, and family?
Why do MLs always fall first and harder, confess first, make FLs their priority, and become ready to sacrifice everything for them?
Let’s not even talk about cooking and cleaning and other stuff. Let’s say he knows how to do all that, and the poor FL doesn’t know how to cook or clean 😅 and if she does know, it’s a relationship, so it’s fine 🙃.
I’ve watched many C-dramas, and I can only name one or two FLs that I’d call “simps.” One I remember is the FL from The Princess and the Lighter. That’s it.
But I can name MLs from now until tomorrow who were more like servants than boyfriends not even simps 😂🤣🤣🤣.
One of them is the ML from You Are My Secret (or whatever that drama was called). She made him suffer and humiliated him, and even after five years of marriage, she was stealing his clients and saying, “Let’s separate work from personal life,” while she used him to improve her career because she knows h love her so he wouldn't say anything about it, and didn’t do anything at home to help he was always wearing apron more than a suite.

you said what I was want to write, I read the comment above and I said we watch different Cdramas maybe 😅🤦🤦 simps mls are the typical perfect green flag mls that also need to help fls forget her ex that she was doing everything in the relationship for years a. sacrifice for him,but with ml she change i become work focus and she don't even help clean the kitchen after he cooks or help him making dinner lol

I didn't watch this drama, but flawed fls it's not like flawed mls , mls has to prove themselves later an apologize an do effort in the relationship towards fl , but fls don't do that in most of the time and it's mls who still simping,and most of the time flawed fls it's about insucurties and she friends with sml or something like that,🙃🙂 it's a general statement I don't know about this , if she apologize and she knows she's wrong and make effort it's okay to be flawed, and it's normal.

in dramas they don't even date and mls proposed directly lol and it's a happy ending, if they go to a date in this drama it's more than enough 🤦🙃😅
and in normal back then it was( Couples in the 80s rarely dated for long; courtship was often brief, focusing on quick registration, background compatibility (social status, wealth), and marriage. )

it will b worse I think someone like me who hate love triangle should be far from this drama by one mile lol

lol, you're right and that's why I don't watch Cdramas in recent years because of this I stopped because of cliches and mls simping and fls has more important things than loving mls , I just watch couple of episodes of a recent Cdrama but same mls doing everything or more I'm the relationship than fls . thank you and sorry for bothering you with my rants 🥲
