It's the typical love triangle of K-dramas: two good men chasing the same FL, who likes her job more, while she still has her past relationship problems that need the ML's help to deal with.

As always, the ML loses his personality after he falls for her and just does whatever she likes and whatever makes her happy. He does most, if not all, of the effort in the relationship. And we get the same cliché where the ML says the FL's ex is a great man, and her ex also says the ML is a great man, just to show that her taste in men is good 😂😂😂.

Long story short, it's a drama that tries to show the FL as the greatest and best woman in that world, that she deserves the best, and that she is never wrong and never needs to make an effort for the ML.

With the SML, she makes effort and keeps doing so until the last episode 🙂😂, but with the ML, he is the one who has to do everything and chase after her even after she rejected him, instead of her making an effort to win him back.

What I’m saying is that, for me, it’s just a normal waste of time. I didn’t even see the chemistry people were talking about. Even after dating for one year, they still act like they just started dating. She has less and less time for him, and in the end, she changes her job so she has even less time for him. Then she tells him to move into her house so she can have someone to help her with the dishes and cleaning 😂😂😂.

I can’t find any good reason for her decision except that, and it’s another FL who doesn’t want marriage while the ML does, but he has to change his mind about it so they can be together.

They say that because they hate that SFL and what she did, and there is a difference between MLs and supporting characters. Let’s say he slapped the FL , you would read the opposite reaction. I’m talking about the main leads in this kind of situation, not evil characters where you expect anything from them, because you can always read comments wishing horrible characters death, not just that they get slapped 😂😂😂.
And I’m sure if we use “context” as an excuse, we would end up accepting many cases of abuse, domestic violence, and crimes of many kinds.
Being abusive is not acceptable, and that’s it. Any excuse or attempt to make it seem okay is wrong. And anyone who thinks there is a difference between a woman slapping a man and a man slapping a woman is showing a double standard. If someone wants equality between men and women, the same standard should apply to both, especially in something where we don't have any differences.

Our discussion is about the writers, not the characters. If we only talk about the characters, then there is nothing to discuss because it’s just a drama, not real life. But the writers and fans who praise these abusive scenes are the issue. If she is disappointed with him or hurt by him, she should talk about it, just like he should talk to her, or she can be angry and let him chase after her as he did from the beginning. That’s enough. It doesn’t need to turn an abusive act into a romantic scene and say it happened because she was disappointed or too angry.

I wish a brave writer would write an ML slapping the FL to the ground because she said something wrong that humiliated him, and make it a romantic scene where she apologizes to him afterward.

I noticed that K-dramas get more success the lower they make the ML act when he falls for the FL, He really falls hard and forgets to collect his manly personality when he runs after her ( because she doesn’t wait for him to get up) I remember something in the rain as evidence that got more successful because the ml was a lower kind of simps .

Writers mostly write the FL always right and the ML misunderstood her , and with his simp personality he can’t wait more longer for her to accept hik so they make him do a stupid mistakes , and write him also intentionally misunderstand her, then they make him act obsessively so he deserves a slap or two,
This is the formula, so even if you want to criticize it , you’re somehow wrong because he did wrong he deserves the slap 1+1 =2 but this is wrong when it's about fls doing mistakes .

And her slap is a really hard good slap not the kind of slapping someone you love because you’re disappointed with him. No, she slap him up till nearly break his neck 😵‍💫. You don’t see FLs slap SMLs or evil characters like this. Because It’s treated as a confession of love, so the ML deserves it.
It’s lazy writing from the cliché writers, but what can we do? Some viewers enjoy seeing a man get slapped by a woman and he still apologize, cry, and regret he didn't get more 🙃, and thank her for it . That’s the fantasy.
