To be honest with you, I enjoy discussions and talking about dramas in general and also the ones I dislike and it's not because of the plot, or the acting, or the actors, but because of how they portray the male lead , they turn him into a man without dignity, a loser, while the female lead is treated as the center of the universe, the male lead worships her as if she were the last woman on earth and loses all backbone just because he loves her, and stopped his life when she lives her life , and when she comes back he say Why are you Soo late I missed you 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨.

Are there still some tropes they haven’t used yet? Mention them, so the writers don’t forget to include them in the next two episodes. Why not? More tropes are good for the health of viewers who saying this is the best rom-com 😅😂😂.

mls simps in kdrama and Cdrama to a degree of making me as a man watching want to slap them some dignity and self-respect

"Road Home" has a slow-burn romance, but both leads truly perfect for each other, and love each other equally , That’s why it’s one of my favorite C-dramas.

Especially the FL I rarely see a character like her in C-dramas or Kdramas She’s independent, strong, and have her great job , yet she still gives back emotionally and loves just as deeply and not making her job or career before the ml like most of this fls do .

because majority of viewers like that shit, and ml making a joke of himself because he's insucure about her , and she don't say anything because she's that low in her EQ , and it's comedy scenes for some that see two men fighting for a fl , and it's so cringe men like them become so childish and fight like they fight over a toy,

About the dramas you mentioned, I disagree that the FLs were good to the MLs , especially Queen of Tears and Welcome to Samdal-ri.
In the later one, everything revolved around her , the ML existed only to make her happy, help her, and love her unconditionally. His dream at the end was just so she could work peacefully, without him having to give up his job again and follow her to the city. What did she ever do for him? He never needed her for anything except being with her. I don’t remember her doing something meaningful for him , except sacrifice and breaking up with him because his father didn’t want her even that he also did same thing for her 🙃.

And that drama has one of the worst confession scenes I’ve ever seen in K-dramas. When she confessed her love, her “proof” was that she tried to forget him by dating many men and when she was with them she thinks about him and she acting like she suffered more than him, while he stayed single, waiting for her, watching her with other men and defending her from her ex . 🤬😂😂.

As for Queen of Tears, it’s the perfect example of what we discussed earlier. He is “the man” everywhere else, but in front of the FL, he is weak, afraid, almost like a servant to her family blamed for everything. And I won’t even start on the stupid plot at the end. I honestly don’t understand how they thought that was okay after the surgery. It was a complete waste of time. And at the end, the poor ML still suffers she dies first, lol.

The other drama I didn’t watch, but I read that the FL never apologized for making him lose his memories of her. Later, she blamed him for forgetting her and he apologized for it 🤦‍♂️.

So you see even when dramas do some good things, there are always more bad things that the ML has to tolerate. And when I say “ML,” I really mean the viewer me 😂😅. Because the MLs themselves never have a problem; the writers make them think like simps, where the FL’s mistakes don’t matter as long as she’s with him.

That’s why I like Road Home (C-drama), It’s Okay, That’s Love (K-drama), Romance of the Evil Flower, and Forever and Ever (C-drama). One C-drama that made the FL act like the ML was Princess and Lighter. (I disliked the ML once if you watched it, you know the jealousy scene 😮‍💨.)
And there’s another K-drama I like because the FL loved the ML deeply, always apologized for her mistakes it's: her private life.

I can’t agree more when it’s a father or a husband taking care of his wife when she truly deserves it. Like the drama picture on my profile , the ML washing her feet was a beautiful scene. It showed care, love, and responsibility.

But in this case, I don’t think she deserves that kind of treatment. I agree with some of your points, but her loving him more is possible. However, actions don’t show that. Even if she loves him more, it has no meaning if it’s not shown through her actions. And like you said, he does all that genuinely because he loves her and wants to make her life easier , but why is he the only one doing that!? Is he the only one in love!? and you will agree with me that there no fl in recent kdrama that do a lot for ml without waiting anything from him !? and why always fl that have another relationship after breakup or before being with ml , but ml is virgin or he had a relationship they don't even show !!

MLs are weak and simps only when dealing with the FL, but when it comes to protecting her or in other situations, he suddenly becomes “the man.” That’s because this is what makes most viewers like him and see him as manly and strong. So when he turns into a weak simp toward the FL, it shows that she controls him, directly or indirectly, and makes him simp for her, and like I see women like men have no ego she can play with him like she wants and he do everything to please her even if she don't do anything for him , and it's only acceptable if it's the ml doing it but not fls .

But in my opinion, I would never stay in any kind of relationship with her if she were my ex. That’s what a man with dignity and backbone would do, not simping and defend her , especially from the man she married after leaving him without saying anything.
