it feels like so..plus his dream also so suspicious... maybe he is secondary Gong's son and he had a car accident…
Yup and I'm enjoying that. I was just saying I am not a person who is praying for happy ending. I'm okay with any kind of ending cause I don't watch drama if only it has happy ending. Probably that why drama like 2521, mr. Plankton, youth of May are one of my favourites 😊
In good bad mother . ML didn't got married where as In this drama FL got married without telling him anything.…
Firstly they can't play scene to scene in both the drama. In good and bad mother, the fl is not the person whom ml decided to marry. Hence, everyone left FL and was routed for revenge by ML. Fl was his best friend whom he dated and then left because of his revenge plan and was going to marry another girl. He couldn't marry her cause of the accident it wasn't because he didn't want to. After the accident, his mental state went back to a 7-year-old child, so he didn't even remember the girl he was going to get married the girl didn't persuade him to marry cause she was the one who caused the accident.
Next, she didn't invite him to the wedding, nor was she aware that he was about to propose. She also said goodbye when she went to get married. It's the grandfather who invited ML to the wedding knowing the relationship between them.
Next, it's not Fl coming back to ML after marriage. It's him coming back to her again and again. And the husband is no saint in this situation. He also married because he wanted that status. It is clearly a marriage of convenience.
After the first fight, it is very clear they are not going to stay in this marriage for long. They both are looking for their benifit. Lastly, the ML is not simp. Especially when he is aware of what exactly this marriage is he is more sure of what is happening.
it feels like so..plus his dream also so suspicious... maybe he is secondary Gong's son and he had a car accident…
I can understand.
Since I'm a person who doesn't mind this. So I have no issues with happy or sad ending thing I am just hoping the thriller portion stays thriller and this show has a great plot with twists and turns
it feels like so..plus his dream also so suspicious... maybe he is secondary Gong's son and he had a car accident…
I agree that his remembering that accident rather than a recent one tells us that he already has memory loss cause the memories didn't come out of the blue in his mind. Also sec. Gong being surprised hearing that name kinda confirms it.
I don't have anything against the FL character IMO is the acting compared to the rest of the cast her acting IMO…
Really, I think she is doing well with what she has been given by the writers. Not only that, she is receiving a lot of praise for it. But everyone has a different viewpoint. So I can understand that you are finding it not up to the mark. Adding to that, I was commenting on the people who are throwing unnecessary hate toward her. Both the leads are grey characters and people here want a Sage FL for some reason
The memory loss trope is a bit disappointing. I get he might be trauma-blocking that memory, but if it stayed throughout the show, then it is disappointing. Also, even if he remembers and still uses his memory loss as a plan, it doesn't make much sense.
I haven't seen a lot of drama but this trope has worked only amazingly well in Queen of Tears. I haven't seen a drama other than QoT where it had worked in the best way possible
Why are people so against the FL? It's not a new plot. It is just told through FL rather than ML in this one. We already know she said yes to the marriage for revenge (and to get her share which her grandfather is using to blackmail her into this marriage which is rightfully and legally hers) she is doing the same thing that many other ml do in revenge kind of plot or specifically the ml did in drama the good bad mother. So why are we hating her?
And also, poor husband, excuse me, he seems like a shitty person, tbh. He asked about her relationship with ML, and when she told the truth, he hit her (within the first week of marriage), and she didn't let it pass and broke his leg. How come still the FL is wrong, and the husband is the poor, loving person for whom people are feeling sad? Hypocrisy much.
I don't think the husband is a good person. We haven't seen it till now, but I believe he has a motive for marrying her. Also, they all know that the Daesan group doesn't have a successor (according to them, there is no male child, and the grandfather doesn't want to make either his daughter or granddaughter chairman or CEO), so whoever marries the family will ultimately become the successor of the entire group. With Prof. Yeom taking money one by one from the Daesan group, it is an ultimate move to marry his nephew off to this family even after knowing the relationship his niece-to-be has.
Didn't Duan Jiaxu first help Sang Zhi when he was still in high school? If he's supposed to be Sang Yan's high…
In episode 14 he introduced him as a silent friend cause they were in the same class making them attend the same orientation both of them were computer science majors while Qian Fei and Chen Junwen were from different majors. Also, it is not always you get your dorm first and then your classes start in the university.
No Duan Jaixu was not wearing school uniform when he first met Sang Zhi at her home he was dressed in jeans white t-shirt and an open shirt.
Yes, there is a difference between high school college, and universities.
In most Asian countries if I'm not wrong your school goes up to 12th standard. Your high school is 9th and 10th standard then comes intermediate which is 11th and 12th or again many Asian countries 10th 11th 12th can also be considered as high school or more often known as senior secondary school and after that, you give your entrance exam for college/universities
University offers a broader range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate, diplomas in many different streams and has different departments like in drama Nanwu University has many different programs but is known for its computer science programs similarly Yihe University offers different programs but its digital media and entertainment is best-known program; whereas college is not a well know word use in Asian countries and if you are using the word college it often means it offers fewer programs like UG, PG, doctorate or it is for specific programs like engineering college, art college, architecture college.

On your second point, first, that is such a great question to ask. ngl I love how amazingly both the stories although set in the same universe tell how different life is viewed by different people.
Hidden Love has most episodes told throughout sang zhi pov. Sang Zhi was brought up in a well-to-do family with healthy boundaries. She has loving, supportive, and always present parents who encourage their children's choices so she sees a world full of warmth, happiness, and good everywhere. Hence the ochre color treatment makes the frame full of sunshine and warmth. We only get Duan Jaixu's pov in a later episode and with only a few numbers of them but when we see his backstory the color treatment of the frame changes to greyish blue and gloom showing what he is struggling with but that doesn't last longer as when he gets together with Sang zhi he sees a person who is smiling joyous and loving hence his pov also changes to that bring the same warm color treatment back in narrative.
Now the First Frost is told by both the POV, Wen Yifan and Sang Yan, it starts with Wen Yifan, she has no parents and has a life that is full of struggle, lost her father had abusive relative, and was continuously tossed from one home to another hence her view towards the world is different. Her world is not full of warmth it is much more gloomy, full of doubts and suspicions hence the drama has a greyish-blue color treatment. You will see those warm colors when the story goes into the past when Yifan was a bit happy around Sang Yan also when you see Sang Yan with his family the mood and color again change to a warm tone but they are scarcely present just like Duan Jaixu pov in HL. When Yifan left, Sang Yan was heartbroken hence making Pov cool and distant on his end as well. So as the story progresses both of their POVs will change and the drama will change its frame again

Hi, I agree. It always going to be hard to see this as a stand-alone. Not only this but also the novel since the writer chose to tell both sibling's stories. But you can see small connections. Between this drama and hidden love which is present in every episode.
If you want to know when the story is happening. What I understand is it is happening right after Sang Yan's graduation. If I'm not wrong Sang Zhi is in the middle of her last year of schooling hence she asked for college preference to go with Wen Yifan. I see many subtle connections made. From why Sang Yan drank so much on his graduation day to how the duan jaixu kept checking on Sang Zhi there are many small connections present here which were like ester egg to me.
Now I see someone point out something that I honestly didn't notice also since it is not mentioned in the official description so I don't know either if it is right or wrong in this. That is the year gap. In the original novel & Manhwa (Hidden Love) sang zhi and duan jaixu had a 7-year age gap which was changed in the drama version to a 5-year gap. But one person pointed out that in TFF it has not changed that’s why Sang Zhi looks young. So I don't know cause I thought the age was right. As both Jaixu and Yifan have started to work in the 2-3rd year of their college so I thought the age difference was the same in both dramas. But that person can also be right
