I don't think anyone is justifying that everyone is talking about what a sh*t show that was, the people are only…
Yes it is.

Also if they wrote the ending for him to get back to his old job of negotiator they should have persuaded that better than the Argan story.

I don't think anyone is justifying that everyone is talking about what a sh*t show that was, the people are only pointing out how the plot was present in the original novel and how the writer had liberty to change that but didn't come up with proper ending

Finally finished it and I f**king loved every minute of it.
I have watched so many amazing dramas in 2024; to name a few, whether it is QOT, LR, Miss Night and Day, JFTH, Light Shop, or even FBC I watched all as they were dropping 2 episodes a week. If I have to say this is the best one I will say YES! Without a doubt.
There was something in this drama that made me on edge and every week unbearable cause I could not just binge it in one go. Every week keep the interest alive like no other drama has done for me. Call it the chemistry, the direction, the screenplay, the story whatever everything came together so beautifully that I enjoyed every second of it. Of course except “Argan storyline” but then Sa-Eon took his shirt off and I wasn't complaining at all. Okay serious talk aside, the ending is also good with a few minutes of exceptions.
Am I still going to give 10/10, heck yeah, my 10 are saved for the drama that I can rewatch again and again without getting over them. A new obsession is here, well until Buried Heart is dropped, I mean I’ll see

Okay but I couldn’t stop laughing in the war scene like so ridiculous 😭
At some point, I said where the heck did they (the jeep of rebels) go? Why are they not back and shot them? 🤦‍♀️😅

I thought Argan was a country 🤣🤣
I checked that too mainly for that code, but the country code 604 is for British Colombia Canada and yes apparently Argan is a region in Morocco famous for its Argan oil production and Argan trees.

Out of nowhere he leaves her when for the first time they could be happy. ML being a "freedom fighter" in a fictional…

Yes, I'm stopping mid final ep to comment on this. The entire Argan story I am like “What the f**k I'm watching? What the h*ck, is this the same show? What happened?

They wasted 45 mins for this. They should have opted out of the Argan storyline and come up with something different. Not only that, but the entire dialogue during the Argan storyline also feels like it is not Baek Sa-eon and Hee Joo talkin'. They wrote this and thought that it was the best

1. Why did you stop just drive
2. Why people were saying they could be related. I means yes kdrama has a phase where step brother and sisters were the ml and fl and falling in love but am i the only one who thought what he said has something to do with Hee joo’s dad and the condition he is currently in.

(I don’t think she is his niece given the fact when hee joo was born they didn’t know the Baek family. Others sayin they might be connected through Sa-eon’s mom; maybe. I mean if they chose to go to incest route then i guess a lot of people gonna go crazy.)

Omg sweetie 😭😭😭This is so sad. Why does she blame herself and say such self-deprecating things? I'm sorry…
On the part of “i’m sorry for taking public resource”. I don't know how much you are familiar with chinese media; but media person when they are making any statement that sentence is default sentence like in korean media when they are making statement they post a black picture. But i agree her statement give very much an impression of self blame i think that is something she is working on as she is talking about how during all this time people on multiple occasion made her belief is is useless.

It just occured to me: no one can give the orphans justice anymore coz 20 years have flown by.. Isn't there a…
I believe every country has different statue of limitations. It used to be 15 years but was extended to 25 years in S. Korea but if I remember correctly around 2015 the statue of limitations was abolished for first degree murder. But for manslaughter the 25 year SOL is still the same

why in cast section hae ju surname is also mentioned as Na (same as yu ri )
Because Hong is from her adoptive family. Her biological father's name is Na Jin Cheol; so until her mother remarried she was Na Hee Joo and it became Hong-Hee Joo after the remarriage. In Korea the wife doesn't take the last name of their husband but the kids do.

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
So he is actually his grandfather'd son. And his current mother knows the truth.
That so disturbing NGL. I predict him to be illegitimate son of the dad actually cause I thought they will never adopt a random kid. Cause the way they behave but Grandad being the actual dad and the mother know still letting her brother in law became her son and molding him to become the kid she had. 😵

Wait the grandfather said he was glad he didn't name him. This means he never gave him a name. It's like robing a person of their individuality on top of making him behave like someone else. So he just has his child live with a fisherman so he could use him as a pawn just to look good. I think you are as deranged as the grandchild you were trying to get rid of. You just hid your ugly a bit better nothing else.
