Finished it. It was engaging, kinda had to fast forward some repeating parts in ep 5(?). Overall, this drama did what it was supposed to. Mystery and suspense. I had a good time watching it 8/10
Hahahha…”politically correct” was the word I was looking for when I watched the last few ep. Everything…
They also didn’t show King TaiZong face at the end, just a silhouette hidden by the sunlight. Maybe this is their attempt at showing the ambiguity? The real emperor in history actions were questionable and suspicious
“ Qian Chu reportedly enjoyed a good personal relationship with the emperor, being regularly summoned to the palace for banquets and ball games. On his 60th birthday (by the Chinese calendar) in 988, Emperor Taizong of Song sent him wine as a gift. After drinking the wine[citation needed], he became violently ill and died that night. He was given a state funeral, was posthumously raised to King of Qin, and was buried near Luoyang.”
Them coming back to the capital and Tai Zhen looking at the room makes me so emotional as a watcher. It’s been 28 years, we saw them from youths til old
Only 8.1 seriously MDL? 😂😂 with this kind of cinematography and strong plot? I know it's about preference,…
I’m enjoying this one a lot. The plot feels coherent and the characters feel alive. Actually started the other drama firsg, it was kinda fun but that’s about it. The characters aren’t really sticking to me so I started this drama and I like it. Mayeb it’s because I love mystery
Makes me sad to think that some if not most soldiers are not fighting for righteous reasons, but for personal gains. Actually, it was shown various times in the drama where they were unhappy because they didn’t get the wealth they deserve when their leader “won”. That explains war crimes a lot
Coroner’s Diary; female coroner investigation. Reincarnation into different body clearing her family’s injustice
the imperial coroner: female coroner investigator
Under the moonlight: female investigator lead. underrated, it got a bit bad towards the end though. Kinda forgot what it was about though.
Everyone always recommends Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty but I personally couldn’t get into it and dropped
I didn’t like Park Shin Hye nice poor girl roles, but she has been amazing in strong roles like the evil judge and in this drama
History isn’t so kind
