The villains weren’t cartoon evil. You know the writing is good when it got you feeling sorry for the king for a second there. Even evil people have some side of humanity to them. Made me think a lot, what is my granary? And have I escaped it?

Obviously watching because of Cheng Yi. But oh my God, I am so impressed by everything in this drama so far. It feels like a movie. Ep 6 and not a single screen time felt wasted or filler-like. Only concern is that it’s a CY drama so I shouldn’t expect a happy ending? Lolll

As far as I know this case has been legally “closed” since day 1. Police ruled it as accident or maybe suicide within hours, then cremate body. Many netizens raised skepticism online, many “theories” of how and why he died. But one thing for sure he was murder. After 10 days, police came out with another announcement (which is nothing new), warning citizens to stop talking about the case, some were arrested for allegedly “spread rumors”

This is why many have been outrage about the case. Authorities doing nothing to solve the case or put the citizens concerns to rest.

This case is basically “just suck it up and believe what the authorities want you to believe”

Power politicians and their families are involved, which explains the cover up.

I have no problem with watching an evil character but she wrong for destroying innocent people lives, who were actually good to her. if she gets a happy ending and free of all consequences. I will throw hands 😤
