By such standards dont u want to delete me (bisexual) and others from the surface of Earth?
yes i did see your comment and can see you being bitter about it. so basically, the issue isnât with the story, itâs with your comfort level. queer people arenât a âconceptâ netflix invented; they exist in real life, whether you like it or not. dramas reflect society, not your filtered version of it. the fact that a queer character shows up in a so-called âstraight dramaâ doesnât suddenly make it an lgbtq series it just makes it realistic. if seeing that bothers you, thatâs not the industryâs fault, thatâs your bias showing. and honestly, trying to say âi donât hate them, but i just donât want to see themâ is still homophobia, just the kind that hides behind fake politeness. tvn, sbs, and kbs have included queer themes too, you just didnât notice because they werenât loud about it. representation isnât an âagenda,â itâs reality. stories donât need to be âcontrolledâ to fit your comfort zone. itâs 2025, not the 80s or 90s if basic human existence still makes you uncomfortable, maybe you should stop pretending itâs about âstory qualityâ and admit itâs just your own prejudice.
40 mins in and ik theres still more issues to come but as a gay 20 yo living in a homophobic country and growing…
hope so this homophobia ends one day fr and we don't have to worry about who we like. i don't even understand why does it even matter to others when they're not even getting involved
