her belief is more in tune with real turn of events. while he thinks he can escape this fate. I am glad in 25 he asks do you want our children to have to go through the shite my brothers had to go through? But what's well done in this show is that both FL & Miss Gu know that he has to go through it regardless but one knows that he does not want to the other thinks he does.

yeah some characters were made just too stupid. even our man Li Ni was made a tad naive in recent episodes.

Miss Gu is really not a simple character.Very intense,she also wants ML to reach potential and similar scruples to FL. I've just caught myself thinking "How would the story turn if she ended up with LCF?" should be very funny.

She is sincere. I'm just waiting if she will mutate into someone similar to LCF. If screenwriter is a woman they might use her to contrast approaches to the same scenario that LCF is in

She will compete for ML and she will get her father to help her, who will probably need to put a case before faker emperor to sort it out. i dont know but it would seem reasonable for ex primer minister to either force ML to marry Gu or force FL to marry someone else.

We have to see circumstances/misunderstanding where FL is questioning his moral stance/ethics/trust too. Gu has to be an instrument to do it. The portrait is a nice little bomb there. I would love to see how far will Gu go and how will FL react.
