I can't read chinese is his name in the credits shown at the end? I saw his clips singing on Youtube awhile back didn't sound like him. That said I'd be pleasantly surprised.
Lol,I am new here too. It's immediately deleting comments that looks weird also that your profile appears to get deleted as well. That's why I've asked. If the system treats you as a bot.
This part is a little bit unreasonable. It seems like she's upset because Li Ni's solution for her father to be…
Well she didn't see the episodes we saw. From her perspective he benefited from everything he did as well. The only part where she crossed the line was during the game.Again she was not trying to win his heart he was trying to win hers. So everything he did he did of his own free will and she isn't obliged to reciprocate.
It could actually be interesting to do a table of tangible benefits each of them derived from their interactions. I think Li Ní could be well ahead.
But again I can't think of any sacrifice he actually did which couldn't be explained by him trying to get close to her to get Cui army disbanded with minimal military effort.
Most of us are people and we perceive things differently. It's not like maths where it's right or wrong so no reason for you to be embarrassed of anything. Questions you raised before were actually interesting and I've enjoyed thinking about them. That's why you deleting them annoyed me so much.
I don't know the policy on that. Your other comments keeps referring to what other's said grouped together something along the lines of "she said,he said what do you think about those people?" you have more than 10 comments like this just on this series alone. And it's your only show you've watched. I mean if you're going to be next ChatGPT that's great. But if you're real it's annoying to think of a polite response and then it turns out that you already deleted your question. But I don't know why you appear as deleted (shrug)

ah yeah. fake Cui Lin aka LCF in that case what's done is done, his motivation has logical explanation and at the moment wth is she going to do. He is in charge (shrug) to me she looked like she had no choice but to go along with it.

She considered it unethical and couldn't believe someone close to her would do such a thing and said so. He blew into rage but even his men (who initially wanted to kill her)later said it's not like her to avoid responsibility and she probably had nothing to do with it. But at the time she had nothing to counter the accusations so she said only that she doesn't know what happened. She still felt sad for the guy she considered her older brother but she knew that if LCF didn't die at the hands of attackers LiNi was justified to kill him. That's why she yelled you only chose to come now you've been here long enough.

Oh I never said she detested the marriage or hated him. It's precisely because she is strong, smart but now has nothing and at the most vulnerable and she snaps at whoever tries to comfort her. Calling it a tantrum is underestimating it quite a bit. I felt Li Ni giving her 3 chances was extremely cruel. When she put down a sword saying "you've only given me 3 chances I've used up one already" it's actually a very heavy scene. It really felt like he broke her and I did not want to see that. For some reason no one suggested that he was playing her. Because those starry eyes can't lie? Maybe he just likes women who have big armies behind them and his feelings go cold. Miss Gu is kinda alright, and there are another 3 spots on consorts to fill up.
I just can't imagine what goes through her head at that time.
Let's just say to me it did not look like a lover's tiff at all.
Went for a walk and thought about those 3 chances again. Jezuz, what a cunt move it was. Like when she cared about LCF and thought he was dead. She was distraught and was grinding those chess pieces till her fingers bled. Li Ni did the right thing to give her time to get her frame of mind sorted out. Was not keeping any count then, he even let her try to escape. (Mind you, it did not stop him to extort her father into helping him attacking whatever city it was) Now when her situation is like twice worse than that and she has no backing and nowhere to run. He suddenly starts keeping a score? What a guy.

As a matter of fact she never even said that she is that into him, just finds him interesting. She never said she wanted to marry him ever, never mind the part about forcing him to marry her - actually completely the opposite. She never pursued him or asked him to suffer. He made some sacrifices to win her heart and was successful. If he did not then he would not have won her heart and everything else would've been a mute point.
Also, it does not matter who directed Li Ni to agree to the request to disband the army. Fact is he agreed to it. So if his idea to rebel was to kneel for a day in the rain.
He could've easily said you know I got 50k people in my army and Cui army has 100K how about we just get rid of emperor right now (and every official with families who seconded the disbandment) saving us a bit of time. So we still have decent force guarding the border, prime minister's people power is gone. I am an emperor, you're empress, we can throw Lady Gracious of the balcony if you like.
She would be happy, army would still be strong and they can work on the legislation to divide the land, etc., or whatever the next thing. without convincing the buffoon of his father.
Now, that would've been the most reasonable and I would go so far as to say the expected way for Li Ni to react.

At the start she thought everyone in Lin family were stupid and didn't deserve the power. After meeting him she realised that he was a little different and but a completly unambitious underachiever. She started to motivate him to achieve his potential. So she pushed him to fight to become Crown Prince only because he was of right lineage to become one and all other alternatives would create instability in the country (one is too young the others too stupid) and her goal was "world peace" not to become Crown Princess.
Suddenly all her family legacy and power is gone and so is her potential to achieve any of her goals without outside help. And she is now totally dependent on someone whom she barely considers to be her equal and gets to become a Crown Princess position which she never wanted or is prepared for.
She did not want to go fishing and gaze at the stars at the border because she had stuff to do. Then she was ready not to marry him but keep the army and she was prepared to fight him if he tried to disarm Cui army by force. And she said like 5 or 6 times she is prepared to not marry at all. And her father went crazy so enemies have extra leverage on her. All of her aims are unachievable and she is in the palace (essentially a prisoner in enemy territory). Just because Li Ni convinced her father that it's the best way forward.
What did she gain out of all this? What did Li Ni gain out of all this?
Not only her response is the most reasonable in this situation but any positive reaction would've been soapy nonsense.

To me it seemed reasonable to be upset.because she wasn't willing to sacrifice her an her father's power just to marry him. But her father sided sided with Li Ni and she went along with it because alternative was another war
Being a sucker for happy endings, I don't have enough words to describe how satisfying and fulfilling the climax…
Thanks for highlighting it. I was very surprised that they were so generous with time on this part at all. When he ran up to the bed I paused the video to guess who will he approach first. Good writer ...so he obviously went to the mother.
I rated every episode a 10 and so far the full thing is marked as a 10. But Tao Zi childless after 5 years is…
Oh for god's sake 😆 my stupid here.but i know what you mean it could've actually worked very well. Probably better than her flying out of coffin at the last moment
