just googled that age of consent in china is 14 without close in age clauses so, if both are 14 they are grand. under 18 is considered a minor but marriage age is 22 for men and 20 for women. so even the law acknowledges that girls mature earlier. so if it was a bl drama you were watching, yep, it might feel like a crime alright.

something dawned on me: i know divorced people younger than legal age for chinese people to marry :D

in fairness it's a tough call. not easy to distinguish a poor attempt to express an opinion from a deliberate provocation. does an opinion need to be reasonable (shrug) im in a mood for a row now but laughing at them is just as fun.

i have a vague recollection of her saying something similar about an actress who was actually 24 or 25 years old. while herself is into younger male older woman dramas. a lot of the time she is sane so cant call her a troll, i guess that type of age gap is just triggering her.
