in ep 4, why did se gye punch man do? did it have something to do with mc?
mun do mentioned his mother. like it's unclear what happened so far but they called sg to be half-breed chaebol in the documentary show they were filming in e01.
I still can't get it...why she feel shortcomings in her acting and saying want to do better??She really did well
no. she just says that she should've studied better and she didn't realize the significance of some historical aspects and will try to do better in the future.
apparently other than the 2 serious blunders there were many small ones related to titles, etc.
Actually this history is taught in high school level in SK. Unless IU skipped school & studies bcz of her…
i'd take it as a cultural lesson. those mistakes were considered serious and offensive. in situations like this (even less serious) in korea actors are expected to apologize on behalf of the team. so next time it happens it won't be so surprising.
Well they are the faces of the project. So they are taking one for the team. Would anyone care if someone from…
maybe to you it seems like the knowledge requires a phd but i'm pretty sure they learn that in school. as to how offensive it is i dont think we are qualified to judge. maybe it's on the level of calling irish pm a viceroy. or pick whatever example culturally relevant to you.
the apology was about using the wrong crown & title right? or was there something else as well?
anyway, there are plenty of netflix/disney's productions which get some nuances wrong just like you believing that's those things are not important and then actors end up apologizing.
I can't understand the problem with the knetz! Why do they blame the actors for the mess. It's a fiction, why…
Well they are the faces of the project. So they are taking one for the team. Would anyone care if someone from costume department apologized. It's not that big of a deal for them to apologize anyway.
Even though it's a fictional world but the items and meaning was borrowed from real world.so either use those things right or come up with something else.
huiju was a bit of a problem. like her brother said i have years of experience you're the only one who says i'm…
no. if she had status she would've achieved whatever she did but with less effort. she already proved herself but believed that status was that extra bit she needed to become successor of dm group.
her brother didn't have too many advantages either. he married well into nobility but he was capable and did the work and that's something that she chose to ignore. "better" is the enemy of "good". even if she believed that she was better than him in every way, and she conceded that he was not bad. when she came back he had 20 good projects in progress and that ad-hoc press conference - he nailed it and it had nothing to do with status that his wife brought to the table.
in the end her father tells her point blank i wanted you to have normal happy life. you have enough money and resources why does your arse keeps looking for adventure.well apparently ... chip on a shoulder im going to prove myself .. etc, etc., it was obvious around the time she came in with proposal, i think even ian was there like ... "what?"
i was excited for this drama since the cast announcement but after finishing it, i don't think it lived up to…
huiju was a bit of a problem. like her brother said i have years of experience you're the only one who says i'm useless. so yeah she did hae a chip onher shoulder.
Great, great, great, great!! For me it's a perfect 10 like the title... The only thing that wasn't shown was the…
seeing how he was crown's biggest fan, i think it would've been cool if the lads who came in to get him would've came out with little black plastic bags :D
lol, thought i'd checkout something from earlier episodes and ended up speed-watching the whole lot again. enjoyed it way more 2nd time.
main couple was great no doubt. the fact that she divulged the clauses to PM still annoys me sbut now i'm glad that she quickly got her bearings and the team she's on. that "3 years later" return to the office should've been after giving birth to triplets and dad at home looking after them. something like in "Positively Yours", that would've been great.
queen mom is simply brilliant. i actually ended up watching some of her scenes a few times. yeah she's more dedicated to the crown than the rest of them but they they should've discarded her visit to prison as well.
dynamic between fl's brother & his wife was brilliant not a lot of screen time but how supportive they are of each other is pretty obvious and their story ends as expected.
when they are buying a violin it would've been nice if queen was with his nephew, it wouldn't have taken too much time and wouldn't give this estranged vibe.
most of the supporting cast was brilliant and most of the stuff i would be skipping over was missing as well... like i don't care what maid Lee A Reum said when she met PM just like i don't care what happened to PM after the truth came out, why the accident why mechanic died who killed him, the suffering of poor royals, absolutely don't care ... so 👌
yeah it was unexpectedly good experience especially 2nd time around.
What are you trying to say? Where's the crazy part and wheres fair unfair comparison. Did you try reading what…
oh m8 i just cant shake off the feeling that there's a bizarre irony in progress. it's like the 2nd drama with IU that i really liked and it feels like that you, a fan since 2008, are trying to convince me not to like it :D anyway i had a look at reviews. i most align with shreya & sunny789. i enjoy watching how they speak with each other and possessiveness when others talk about them. those scenes could be a some 1 minute shorts from yt for all i care. those scenes look great to me.
What are you trying to say? Where's the crazy part and wheres fair unfair comparison. Did you try reading what…
i'll disagree anyway. i don't see how one script which deals with alternative reality romcom be compared with a down to earht realistic setup.feels like comparing apples and oranges to me.
What are you trying to say? Where's the crazy part and wheres fair unfair comparison. Did you try reading what…
im not trying to dismiss your reasons to dslike the show. if that's what you think and that's important to you - fine. but dragging in another show & screenwriter just to say that you didn't like it feels a little unnecessary. also, to say that i've disliked "tangerines" would be an understatement so yeah... lets agree to disagree on the merits of one and the other.
controversy was purely around historical detail f'up.
