Recently I absolutely loved Go East and a mini drama called Stick it to the script.

Yeah I guess it's like scary movie franchise. Not sure if it's how romance of tiger and rose would go down if condensed into 4 mins episode. But it has the best bad guy there.... and the most evil evil plan I've seen so far!🤯🤣

It's kind of a collection of a few plots which get tied together. It has a few cheesy characters but it has fairly "innocent" thread running through it.I kinda don't know what you mean by "toxicity", but it definitely has old school feel.

Kdramas are very different to Cdramas anyway. But I feel like AOS is a standalone show in both.

Lol why do you need to be proven wrong? If it's not for you then it's just the way it is. Anyway, there's nowhere to jump; it just flows. If you didn't get into this flow straight away then it's unlikely to get better for you. Rating bias ... What? Rating on MDL is driven mainly by personal preferences of watchers and is weird anyway.
But it fared well in other ratings too, hence you start/stop it so many times. There's probably nothing wrong with you.. just not your thing.

How's Xiao Yan's character? is she a quirky sidekick again or a proper main lead?

Oh I would love it if it was true. Especially if they focus on WKW & Yuchi.

The only problem I see with a woman being sent back in time is now they'd have to apply feminine qualities to her and make her "holier than though" and all that jazz which comes with it. Here they went with "ah he is a guy and a total dick so he's ok to act like one". There's a bit of irony somewhere.

Story was intriguing done very well and I liked the acting. I really liked backstabbing and challenges that had to be overcome so I kinda missed the romance aspect of it
So I'm glad that I wasn't put off by BL comments. Gender swap comedies were around for ages and I wouldn't fret about a few awkward moments. Anyway, dude waking up in the end,in shock, realising it was all a dream doesn't have to mean anything other than realising it was just a dream.

Ke Ying is just so sexy that she's bound to look too feminine for some scenes so I can see where some could get idea that she's coming on to LS,also, for a desire for things to turn into romance... but if it they'd sent a woman back in time I doubt the show would work out so well.

Overall, I well enjoyed it.

Nah iqi had same issues. Non DRMd files could be downloaded with subs and all music cues removed. But it didn't fully solve the issue. They might fix it eventually but yeah it was annoying alright.

Ah come on now when she wiped the dust off that table she ruined important manuscript thus setting back human progress for at least a century.

Yeah, I kinda started to be a bit more conservative with my time. But my plan to watch list instead of getting smaller is getting bigger and bigger 😆

Well, I'm a man well in his 40s and I absolutely love FL's character.
I just don't see that negative bs which is being attributed to her.
So, a lot of comments I find extremely amusing albeit just for the irony of it all.

Given that it's in cdrama it doesn't look cultural difference, it could be. But where I live I don't know many guys for whom "sorry" or long discussion is important. It's more like make me cup of tea, a cheese sandwich, give me some space and don't talk back if I'm hissy at you. In less than an hour I will forget all about the stupid shit you did.

Here, he sees the attempts to make peace throws it back in her face because it was a serious f'up on her part. But when he wakes as far as he is concerned the conflict is over. That's how I would expect this situation to be resolved. However, they don't know each other well and she took it to heart.

In real life only another alcoholic would enter his life and would want to stay with him.
So, the way I see it her coming into that life is actually the best thing that happened to him.
