Same screenwriter as JOL. Therefore story was interesting some of the supporting cast acting not as good, I think…
I hated the book and how she was portrayed in it made very little sense to me, so I'm on the other side of that spectrum. To me that innocence vibe was something that simply had to be there and those facial expressions... brilliant. Really don't see anyone else play this role 🤷
I think a lot of people blindly give 10 rating. 10 rating = masterpiece. And in this one I didn't find any amazing…
Well if ranking doesn't go on personal preferences what's the ranking criteria? How should the rating scale go? What factors should be considered? Is everyone supposed to be considered as qualified to participate in a ranking process? Would it be only those who graduated from relevant fields? In which case how should their qualifications be verified? Come to think of it why do you consider yourself to be qualified to judge what a masterpiece is? Not being a prick here, just curious.
Anyway to you a 10 must be some cinematic masterpiece. To me it's just that I binged it without skipping;felt engaged and involved with characters and story; and I watched it (at least partially) a few times. If I at least finish a drama I'll rank it 8.5 even if I skipped/ff'ed it a few times. Most of the dramas I watch comes from personal recommendations so fuck it. I don't mind spending a bit of time checking how they rank stuff to assign weight to their opinions.
I watched MHH because of your comment; and it turned out to be absolutely brilliant! Laughed my arse off! Thanks…
well somehow I doubt there would be an s2. even if there is i'll be pleasantly surprised if it will be as good. of course i would like to be wrong on both counts 😊
Absolutely loved it! especially the first 15 eps. For me the engagement with the story was probably higher than with JoL. Can't believe I didn't watch it earlier. Really funny. I was grand even with scenes where I'd normally consider humour to be cringe-worthy.
I don't think Xuanyuan's love for Ziqin is one of romantic kind.
(edited: removed a clearly false sentence. don't know why i thought it was good idea to say that)
There are a few excellent episodes with the two of them but the ending doesn't dwell on side characters. If you keep in mind that it's all just a dream then you should not be surprised that a piano will fall from the sky to sort everything out. The ending is abrupt so the closure there is just for Ziqin.
From Wikipedia: Ventriloquism is from the Latin: 'to speak from the stomach.' Venter means belly and Loqui means…
Sounds are not produced in a vq's belly. Belly is used to manipulate diaphragm and airflow through larynx. It;s about removing one of the visual cues (rising chest) which indicate that a person is speaking.
Honestly, I can't remember why blood of youth didn't make my list 🤔 I remember checking it out but now total blank.
Which one one is better to watch first DY or BY?
At least that's how it looks to me.

Ah balls. Didn't realise I'm feeding someone.
And yeah I'm glad too. Wonder if they were hiding his wife till the very end.
