One would boil bones for awhile with garlic herbs etc . It would look like soup. Then it be kept overnight in the fridge. When it's ready it would look like jelly.

Well now that I think about it.it's a pretty dumb expression to use in this context. Coz saltiness is associated with sucking a dick. So it would imply that whoever says "salty" is the one who feels the salt... and is the one who sucked it. This expression is just weird - not going to pick it up.

My hand?" And he's pulled under the clouds (by FS people). If he didn't drop his box he would've made it to the banquet and had wonderful time.

1) By a cruel twist of fate Bei Xiao Yan and Shen Li end up in the same cell. Now, as a result of Shen Li's aggressive, dangerous and irresponsible overtaking maneuver BXY was captured and tortured. Subsequently he was coerced to facilitate capture of his family and attacks against the Divine and Immortal realms. I'm guessing they cut the part where details of his capture transpired and he says " it's all because of you " and "shen li how the hell did you get your flying license". 🤣 It just had to have been there.

2) She happily walks home from a flower banquet with strong liquor in one hand and a massive peach which is supposed to be super sweet.No no no. You should know those 2 things don't go together. When I see the amount of eaten peaches around the place I feel ill.

From what I gathered only girls under 16(?) could walk around with loose hair without being considered weird. After hair pinning ceremony hair had to be tied one way or another. I Agree with you - it had nothing to do with mourning . If softer look is the answer - great. But, loose hair worn by girls over 16 (some say 16 other 15)meant that they are not eligible for marriage regardless of the reasons.

There's so much attention to hair detail in those times. I wish a " just for looks" explanation could ease my mind.
