I want to know the name of the chunk of meat dish. It even had ice ( in that weather) google is not helping me.…
I could be wrong but I think it's bone marrow. But yeah it has to be kept cold to solidify in hot weather rare sight.
One would boil bones for awhile with garlic herbs etc . It would look like soup. Then it be kept overnight in the fridge. When it's ready it would look like jelly.

Well now that I think about it.it's a pretty dumb expression to use in this context. Coz saltiness is associated with sucking a dick. So it would imply that whoever says "salty" is the one who feels the salt... and is the one who sucked it. This expression is just weird - not going to pick it up.
Ehh, more like frenemies at first? They're both fighting against the same villain (the man that killed the emperor),…
I cant call them frenemies, because they didn't know each other. Neither army considered each other an enemy. It's more like two people representing different departments trying to get the budget. But maybe.
IMO, this was bloody awful. The actors were all good. The fight scenes were all fairly good. But there was no…
They find each other interesting and nowhere do they pretend to be smitten by some great love or something. So as far as pupil dilation I see no reason to drag that in. Their relationship is a bit of a cat and mouse game. Again, these kids are courting through times when they do have conflict of interests. I have no difficulty fathoming anything they did,and I actually loved the way it was done. Sorry to hear that it wasn't for you.
They're supposed to be like generals in civil war would be completely unexpected if some of those good characters didn't die. I mean it's pretty much a given. Grossness factor missed by me completely. I imagine it's lower than in SOKP by quite a bit. As far as endings I wish Tao Zi had kids at the end too their story had most natural progression.
Anyway, as they say different strokes...
Just had a look through you playlist looks like it's not even you genre. Why did you bother to watch it anyway 🙄

I think this part of my comment that confused you:
he says " it's all because of you " and "shen li how the hell did you get your flying license".
Sry I wasn't referencing the novel. I meant how the conversation should go if he found out she's the one responsible for him getting captured. Quoting stuff can be tricky. 😂 Sry I'm just in a giddy mood. That's how I imagined dialogue would go.

Yes exactly. He was going to the banquet. Leisurely flying to the party. She overtook him too fast he dropped his box. Himself and his attendant went to pick it up. "All that matters is my hand. My hand?" And he's pulled under the clouds (by FS people). If he didn't drop his box he would've made it to the banquet and had wonderful time.
But nah, Shen Li had to cut him off.Too upset or still hangover... irresponsible driving nonetheless.
1) By a cruel twist of fate Bei Xiao Yan and Shen Li end up in the same cell. Now, as a result of Shen Li's aggressive, dangerous and irresponsible overtaking maneuver BXY was captured and tortured. Subsequently he was coerced to facilitate capture of his family and attacks against the Divine and Immortal realms. I'm guessing they cut the part where details of his capture transpired and he says " it's all because of you " and "shen li how the hell did you get your flying license". 🤣 It just had to have been there.
2) She happily walks home from a flower banquet with strong liquor in one hand and a massive peach which is supposed to be super sweet. No no no. You should know those 2 things don't go together. When I see the amount of eaten peaches around the place I feel ill.
Question was raised earlier but there was no definitive answer. Personally I thought for her age having hair down…
From what I gathered only girls under 16(?) could walk around with loose hair without being considered weird. After hair pinning ceremony hair had to be tied one way or another. I Agree with you - it had nothing to do with mourning . If softer look is the answer - great. But, loose hair worn by girls over 16 (some say 16 other 15)meant that they are not eligible for marriage regardless of the reasons.
In the novel it's mentioned she no longer participated in the military stuff/attending court meetings after peace…
There's so much attention to hair detail in those times. I wish a " just for looks" explanation could ease my mind. Like she didn't have to look formidable with crown like bun but married women would wear hear tied. Ghost soldier's wife, XZ's fanclub all had hair tied. Only Demon He didn't coz of her age?

I have not seen LBFAD yet it's on my to-do list. I think most of the others are a 10 for me. LLTG is probably 9.5.
