I don't understand people who come here and just complain and then put in poor grades? The difference between…
Well number of episodes could be important. As far as I can see Korean dramas are usually over an hour per episode. So if someone is used to those durations to them 39 eps would look like 70+ eps to us. Fir example it took me ages to allocate the time initially for the rise of phoenixes.I had 20eps to finish but looks like it's not going to happen because now I forgot what was in the previous 50 (shrug)
39 eps is too much for you?Ahh. I see. It's better than Untamed. For me it knocked off Alchemy of Souls from top…
I don't know what would be a deciding factor for you but for me it's like perfect: simple story, good balance of humour and tension without major irritants a la Seo Yul( seriously hate that guy. there's a similar guy here too but he is not creepy enough to warrant a skip) Overall, I know I can pick a random episode and I won't have to skip. Easiest thing to do would be to just watch the first episode, and if it's not your thing then it's not your thing :D But really it's just a story of a couple becoming a couple done very well.

i didn't like untamed at all :) please forget i've mentioned it. but i loved alchemy of souls so did you. So if the question is in terms of episode numbers this one is shorter by about 8 hours if we take AoS S1+S2; so don't be intimidated by the number of episodes. Stories are not similar - caveat emptor.
39 episodes?? I don't know if I can do it. Someone convince me to watch it. π

Ahh. I see. It's better than Untamed. For me it knocked off Alchemy of Souls from top 3. Most importantly why do you feel the need to watch it? Or convinced?
Eh, In e17/e38 when she makes her report about miasma and Fu Sheng's name gets mentioned. The tone and glances... I wonder which Fu Sheng was meant to have hurt her π
I still havenβt finished yet (on episode 29) but I agree with your sentiments . I was really into this at first…
Well, I actually loved the fact that none of them looked like love struck puppies. So, to me, given the story line and interaction they had it was just right. To me, that level of emotion : >> "No.... chemistry is when you get the feeling..." here would look completely out of place and make it a completely different story. Which would need to be judged by different criteria and I'm not sure it would be a story that I would like to see. "Great chemistry" is subjective, so maybe it's just not your idea of what it's supposed to be.
While I do think the leads have very natural chemistry, I also rated the drama 6.5/10. There was just way too…
Yes that's why I said "latent" but I had this association since day one. The limit of his ambition was to sort out the rebellion and remove himself to laolan pass, sit on a couch, watch sunset and stars.
IMO, this was bloody awful. The actors were all good. The fight scenes were all fairly good. But there was no…
Lol, things are much calmer nowadays. You should scroll down to earlier comments, like to the time when it was airing π
I'm confused why would you post it in comments section instead of reviews. Like,if someone posts opinion in comments section it feels like an invitation to discuss.
In review section is usually where replies are not solicited, your opinion would not get lost and easy to see what you didn't like.

I'm with you up until the last point-e30. It just had to happen. Like he is a latent deadbeat by nature no ambition etc., FL tried for ages to get him to move his arse and failing. Even though he is nominated as crown prince he is still acting like a little girl. So something like this just had to happen. Shocking part was that it didn't work. It was only after FL's "death" that he was able to get over his childhood traumas/limitations and finally grow up. Though I'm glad that "ear" guy got through it alive. Writers could've decided to remove everyone connected to that periphery place.
I could be wrong but I think it's bone marrow. But yeah it has to be kept cold to solidify in hot weather rare…
I thought the meat they got initially was ribs. The top part would have meat and and a lot of fat. So you'd strip the top meaty part for one dish and use bones for another. But checking back yeah there were no bones there...live and learn. sugar cubes... F.me. π
They find each other interesting and nowhere do they pretend to be smitten by some great love or something. So…
Well I didn't think I was harsh or offensive the first time. Nor did I try to offend you. So now I'll just think that you sucked someone's dick and washed it all down with a bucket of piss. I don't see why would I be triggered because, I don't see anywhere where I was nothing but polite.
recommendation above would work too :)
