Yes but... a redemption arc is not done in 2 minutes, they would have needed all episodes for it. It's just bad writing. First force drama and then resolve it with a ridicilous 180° turn. It did not improve the series one bit.

I hate most lacorns because they are over-dramatized which annoys me as well, characters are just black/white which is also unrealistic. And thai humor is not really sophisticated, it's crude with silly soundeffects.

Hmmm.... can Thais do serious drama? I doubt it. But at least it does not start stupid.... which is very welcomed.

yeah, that's why I don't like the end... and also the reveal of the father being gay was a bit strange. They could have done that better regardless if the original template had that in, they could have rewritten it and change it to make it more logical. But we can't have everything...

They could have changed the original material, as they did for example in "Our Youth (2024)" where around 40% was thrown out.

I never implied anything about gatekeeping... It's just wild when men write about women desires and vica versa. It's different when a gay man writes about his desires or his life ("Love in the Big City", "Life in Smokey Blue").

The manga was made by a woman. A male wouldn't come up with such a premise. If a boy doesn't like boys he would never be curious about such a sexual fullfilment...

You would not assume it's the same team... besides the playtime which is a bummer for sure, but on the other hand better than 90 min thai BL episodes where nothing is happening 🤣
