Well you found some redeeming factors to rate this series a 5.I didn't like it at all. I rated it a 2.5 because…
Tell Aof with his "The Next Prince" which was far worse in my eyes :) And I seldom drop series, because maybe it has redeeming qualities in the end, but most don't.
The difference is that Stubborn has this theme through out the series. The gang-rape was in episode 1. In the…
Yes, because he changed quite fast and he is not toxic in the end. When you watch "My Stand-In" the protagonist is worse and in the end still an asshole.
If you count that anyone must time for his crime, then I would not look further than the USA where a criminal is president - and he did at least sexually harass woman. Did he go to jail? He did pay some millions and that was it. Is that atoning? No, because he thinks he did nothing wrong.
And don't forget, this is a fantasy series not reality. Can his behaviour be excused. No. Did he change himself. Yes. And if you don't like it, that's ok. I don't like that part as well, but others are done well.
And finally, if you don't like such content: Write all the woman who do write such content. Compared to the novel they did tune it down a lot. Or even better: don't read or watch it. ABO Desire is not a series for you, for example.
You think CCheng is less of a red flag/toxic than the guy from my stubborn? Did you skip over the scene where…

I agree with this review, I got bored and just never bothered to pick it up. But I praise you as a warrior for…
The first half was ok, but then the writer lost interest it seems and nothing essential happened... They should have ended with them seperating and Mr. Count to be forced to marry and it would be happy end for me :) At least, it would make sense :)
The French speaking shattered the illusion for you? Try being a historian watching a series set in 1915, yet spotting…
I'm not a car guy but it looked to modern :) I guess in 1915 you would start the car by hand... but the car is not that often in the scenes, but the speaking was a part of the story :) Never knew about the electrification :)))
But Paris did not have a gay ban, because the "sodomy" law was abolished with the french revolution in 1791, They had a dicriminating law in 1960 which was abolished 1980. So gay life in 1915 in Paris was quite fine.
I liked the way you articulated your thought in this review. I personally dropped this after 1 episode because,…
Age did not come into my mind... But a hetero who gets fancied by a gay and then turning gay is just too much... the 5 was because their acting was not bad and overall production was also not bad... so it's overall medicore :)
I don't really like director New (Perfect10liners, Fourever You, we are).
Again, I don't agree with the premise that two of his shows were that stellar. And "New" can, when he has the creative freedom to do so and I feel that he does not have that, when he does shows for GMMTV, which mostly does shows which are safe and cater to the fangirls. There are only few exceptions when GMMTV does risk something.

It's a 5, because if you remove all that stuff, it's ok.
