From the episode 1, leads are protecting and caring for each other insanely. Very beautiful chemistry.

No misunderstandings at all, but there were about 3 episodes of something similar, but still then, leads were glued together and chemistry was on fire again.

The ending has pretty much a total of 2 episodes. Nothing is rushed. Everything settled and came to end giving you butterflies in stomach.

Exactly, not just cheng lei and jelly, but even suppotting characters and everything else was pretty interesting. Though i have watched ep 11 and 12, it didn't pique my interest. I am almost on the edge of dropping

The initial episodes are political, very sweet romance uptil now, intriguing chemistry but not overpowered. For rest of the episodes, we'll see how it unfolds

Hmm i agree, LOTFG is little overrated. But shadow love as well deserves commendable praise. That character shifting, even though CGI is worth the praise.

Exactly because i mean well, without comparison, how would i know why people disliked shadow love or liked LOTFG more. I have seen both of them, both historical, generals guarding the border, love story triangles, political disturbance, being everything similar, shadow love does have elements that are new in the industrt. Furthermore, the chemistry, if i talk about romance lovers, has been more intimate in shadow love. I dont have prejudices against any of the drama, both are good, but i still want to know the opinion, may be i overlooked some things

Yes exactly..both are historical..rolling around generals serving at borders and political disputes. But shadow love visibly exceeds the praise. But still ranked lower

This is definitely better than LOTFG and absolutely certain, 8.2 is way less than it should be.

The best part was..unlike other chinese dramas, the adult versions of them were finally the real adults and not just them with gray hair and beard. That is truly appreciable. The age of each actor matched well with their roles. Also, the acting of even adult leads was breathtaking. Each and every actor played the role with their blood and soul. That's absolutely certain

Solid spot on 10 on 10 guys...what are you waiting for if you haven't binged it yet. It will be a timeless classic. 12 episodes were way less. I could not bear the moment it ended. I wanted more of tang xun and haitang in 2026, exploring the world and snowfall, and everything. Atleast, a boat venture of theirs, reunion with cha and hao. Oh god, this drama was absolute satisfaction. Even the thought, a mere reflection of scenes in myind is giving me butterflies. Gonna rewatch it again and again until all the dialogues are memorised by heart. I guess i won't stop even after that. Such a tonic💜
