I got fed up with blossoms of power and decided to give this one a chance, then I found out female lead is in love with someone else? so how many episodes until she falls for male lead?

Stopped watching this around episode 8 because the fl was getting on my nerves a bit, but kept coming here everyday to see if something changes and its just getting worse. Maybe it's time to give up completely, which is a shame because I adore He Yu.

girl this isn't real life, it's a romance drama and that's what people want to see. It really isn't that deep.

Nobody is trying to villainze her. People are just bored with her character and the lack of romance.

I want to watch this for the actors whom I love, but it's really hard. The female lead is like a robot at this point. 13 episodes in and we don't even know her backstory and why she's the way she is. The crown prince is a very well layered character on the other hand, but it's hard to root for a couple where the fl doesn't feel anything about ml 13 episodes in. No wonder everyone is falling for the second leads couple.

Exactly. I'm on episode 10 and there's literally no pay off, not even a single tiny reaction from her. She's like robot and is getting boring to watch tbh.

I don't think anyone is bashing the actors themselves. It's obviously their agents fault. The fact that this is a romance and has no romantic scenes or skinship can also affect the drama in china with low rates. It's not just the age gap, it's also the consequences of the age gap on the finished product.

if she wasn't a minor they would have no problems in filming kissing scenes, and they didn't film any. That should be telling.

I'm on ep 5 fighting the urge to drop this. It's kinda weird how all these men just fell to their knees for a woman they just met and who is stone cold. The episodes seem kinda stuck, she doesn't get any real insight into the male lead. Nobody knows why she is the way she is. It's getting boring. The visuals are perfect, but the writing is just not moving anywhere.
