hmm they literally heard each other say the the things they wanted to hear the most in all of their lives (iykyk) through those phone calls, also you must've focused on their wealth too much, because despite both lead's wealth i seem them as poor persons in terms of love and attention from the people they need it most from (if u don't relate to that, congratulations maybe u had loving parents and family) because those aspects of their characters are what i relate the most.
both of them shown struggling as a child to compete and win the love they need. then also both realized their parents actually didn't care enough abt them in the first place and so they built this walls around theirselves.
they pretty much seen each other's vulnerabilities and also like an onion they slowly peel each other and see they're so alike hence why they felt close faster.
i don't know how you can't see that connection they have, the fact they're both so alike and understand each other no one else could. both shadowed by their elder sibling and both had daddy issues. kdramas don't have to constantly spoonfeed you, maybe you have to do the digging yourself and you'll find out more.
Why wouldn't they give it low rating if they dropped it within 4 episodes? Wouldn't that make it bad for them…
literally like u should have atleast finished most of it to have the nerve to criticize it. some here are too proud to post a review and mention they were only up until half or even worse 3 eps and THEN THEY MAKING REVIEW??? like girl please
Why wouldn't they give it low rating if they dropped it within 4 episodes? Wouldn't that make it bad for them…
the point is that it's not fair to put a rate on a show you didn't stay enough to even digest the plot you get me??? if i watched "my dearest" (peak kdrama btw) only up until 2 eps because it was slow burn and not much was happening despite it having a very good build up until the end, and then i go on here commenting and rating abt "my dearest" being the most boring thing and rate it 1/10 but the fact is i didn't even get the full view of the plot is just an injustice to the show. what's happening here in perfect crown is that people are too quick to rate and comment here boring when they're only up until 2 eps. it's not proportionate and is a straight disrespect. im not saying no one is allowed to rate low or criticize the thing is they don't even criticize properly it's just literally "hating" at this point. they didn't grasp the plot, they didn't comprehend the characters, or even the backstories and then say "boring" and like please im sorry maybe talk more when you actually have an idea on what you're watching.
This K-drama is probably good, but Iβve realized itβs really not my kind of drama. My taste is quite simpleβI…
have you checked out the cdrama "meet yourself"? we kind of have the same preference and i thought u might like that one, it's available in yt. great scenery great script, realistic characters, small town vibe, slow burn romance and absolutely mature relationship with the leads. their relationship was one of the best (if not the best) in terms of actual maturity yet still being humbly realistic. they talked and bonded alot even before they got together and you actually see them fall in the process of love rather than formulaic and forced ones in most romcoms.
i was out here for months and i saw on tiktok that there was melon that mm rumored to have taken the role previously accepted by esther yu (sorry i cant remember the title) and now seeing it not being listed in her upcoming dramas mustve meant she didn't took it...? i need new mm updates βΉοΈ
help meee, im at ep5 and i don't want to stop watching πππ i have presentation and exams tomorrow btw, this is too addicting. i think I'll spend my day tomorrow daydreaming about this drama whole day until im off home to watch it ππ
i fell totally hard in love to txw at the 1st episode already ππ this role was made for her or she's just an incredible actress period. she nailed her character in every aspect.
wow 9.1 is amazing to be honest and when i started it i was actually thankful for myself on not watching it when it was ongoing because MYGOD IT WAS ADDICTING. coming from someone who finds historical cdrama intimidating and too much politics. everything is perfect in this drama
so true, i even read in twt that for promotion of chasing jade, TXW and ZLH won't be appearing in the same frame in Hi6, many are speculating because of fandom/CPF wars again.
god please stop publicly promoting π΄ββ οΈ sites... maybe tag it on spoiler or delete it after being seen by OP. if we can't support actors thru streaming then atleast let's not flaunt π΄ββ οΈ sites
hell nah, don't go out dragging Our Generation π y'all just didn't get my traumatized qiaoxi and it's fine.…
you and me together π€ people aren't just ready to accept complex male avoidant character in romance drama. i wished OG was more longer so that we've seen more details to his trauma, how much he suffered by guilt on not being with ying tao, and him eventually overcoming his traumas on his own with support of yingtao. as much as i love them, i felt that using yingtao as the sole "fixer" of his life was just not it, i hope they explored his character on his own within ying tao and then eventually getting better because yingtao was there to support him. and also yingtao's unwavering love needs to be studied. it hurts me that little appreciated her because she's a "girl" and therefore shouldn't pursue her love too much (because boys should be doing that π€‘) the irony that when role are flipped off everyone loves it. but all in all i also have to blame the execution of the story, so much potential wasted. for once it was refreshing to have an fl be so bold and sure of her love with a boy as the same to her but with more baggage weighing him.
i loved the characters especially the exploration of qiaoxi's avoidant because I don't see much avoidant male leads, they always seem to be portrayed as this perfect puppy chasing ml to her fl. qiaoxi was realistic and of course will be a hard watch for other wanting fluff. I'll always defend Qioaxi everywhere but OG in overall as a drama, I'd say it was poor execution, lacked more characterizations, filler scenes that didn't add anything to the story.
complex realist characters and bad writing can coexist anyway
Okay now this is better than our generation. No ghoster male lead for this but a green flag one. Not a favorite…
hell nah, don't go out dragging Our Generation π y'all just didn't get my traumatized qiaoxi and it's fine. blame the 24 episode that didn't give justice to their characters. SOM only similarities with OG is having romance and youth, OG is really not meant to be fluffy and all.
