for me main leads are doing great job but I'm not gonna claim it's something groundbreaking performance. swl and zjm are delivering what needs to be done and has the necessary body languages and eye movements. nothing too over the top cringe, very natural. major casts are the same. everyone is doing their job well.
while watching since first ep, i really thought i got major major kdrama vibes from the scenes with ost playing along with certain pan and zooming shots. it kind of reminded me of the works of the screenwriter and director of QOT and CLOY. the way the director emphasize the leads facial expressions everytime we're in a very important plot scene. it's not something i hate tho, i just can't get this feeling out of my head while watching. because aside from the mandarin and chinese culture present and of course the very nature of cdrama. idk i just thought i had to say it lol
i legit can't explain my reaction when fl's father leaned back to couch due to frustration and the snake mother held unto him tight. it was so pathetic and could only laugh out my amusement. i can't believe such people exists. every words coming from her mouth are lies.

mainly because of the business ventures in the drama is rooted on 2012 china solar panel innovations. because now most of the things that they're exploring in business in the drama is common and explored now in 2020s so it wouldn't make sense to have 2024 timeline

definitely! she looked so cute in all. but i particularly like the ones she wore at their first firework walk. it was with a white short bubble skirt and white leggings with the very cute fluffy boots. also that ear muffs go so well with the outfit. such a shame she's back in office so her outfit will most certainly be close to plain. one thing i enjoy with dramas are the cute outfits. i remember seeing the reuter with jinmai wearing gray knit top and short pleated gray skirt and immediately thought "this drama i will definitely watch" (actually most of reuters with jinmai have her in cute outfits so I really looked forward to this drama)

couldn't agree more. these are the writers I'll definitely be looking out for in their future dramas. often times when novels are changed it created even more mess until it strayed away to the core of the original work. we rarely see adaptation that are actually sensible and enhances the story even more. from that ski arc, we felt more connected not only to the leads but also to their loved ones. we see ml's vulnerabilities and so much more. it became a pivotal part in this series and added more details to their lives. from endearing trio moments of cousin and leads, upto the emotional scene of ML. in between it is their "somewhat" fight because of Kevin's accident. that fight gave their relationship more strength and thru it, we get a glimpse of how they are when they're not at their best and we seen how they handle the issues between them. argh 😫 so much more to love in ski arc and more so in this drama
