other thank liking her from the party, another thing why he never forgot about her was because of the accident. being hospitalized with a ruined glamorous career, of course his mind is reeling towards fl and how she could have done something like that.

for me main leads are doing great job but I'm not gonna claim it's something groundbreaking performance. swl and zjm are delivering what needs to be done and has the necessary body languages and eye movements. nothing too over the top cringe, very natural. major casts are the same. everyone is doing their job well.

while watching since first ep, i really thought i got major major kdrama vibes from the scenes with ost playing along with certain pan and zooming shots. it kind of reminded me of the works of the screenwriter and director of QOT and CLOY. the way the director emphasize the leads facial expressions everytime we're in a very important plot scene. it's not something i hate tho, i just can't get this feeling out of my head while watching. because aside from the mandarin and chinese culture present and of course the very nature of cdrama. idk i just thought i had to say it lol
