Amazing youth drama that's worth to watch
Spoilers ahead. This is one of the best youth k drama I have ever watched in a while. It definitely made me cry multiple times and the interactions of the two couples were so sweet. The message this show was trying to deliver is meaningful and touching.
The problem that I also face when I watch this show is also the pacing issues. not everything was concluded in the last episode and left with a lot of plot holes. For example.
Revolving Eun Yu and Segyeong:
How is the real Choi Segyeong doing in the US when Oh Eun Yu was impersonating her in Korea? How did Choi Segyeong and her husband's life change in 2023? Did Segyeong and Eun Yu's perspective and misunderstandings resolve? How is Eun Yu's fear of playing the cello and being the trophy of her mother resolve? Did Segyeong reconcile with Mr.Jonathan? Did Segyeong come back from US earlier?
(Since the real Segyeong was pretty much not really involved during half of the story, I really wanted to know how her life and perspective was changed despite not seeing the main characters in Korea during 1995)
Mr Jonathan and Eun Gyeol:
Did Eun Gyeol see him in the present? Did he not commit suicide anymore? Did he reconcile with his daughter?
Eun Ho ( I was kinda hoping he was a main character since he connected some of the dots of the story and he seems interesting but oh well):
What happened to Eun Ho and Eun Yu's relationship in 2023 at the end? How was Eun Ho and Eun Yu's relationship before the time slip? Is he still doing taekwondo?
(I'm sorry if you got heartbroken Eun Ho :( )
Yi Chan and Cheong Ah:(also with the rest of the band)
What happened to them after Yi Chan lost his hearing? How did they grow after that? Did the band disband?
What happened to the contest? What happened to grandma?
That's all. Thanks for reading my review xoxo. :3

Definitely recommend !
This review contains spoilers from all episodes so beware. This drama is so so good and Def did not regret watching it. To be honest, I think it is too short for 8 episodes and Def should be longer. This drama has all sorts of genres like mystery, romance, suspense etc. I love the chemistry between the female lead and male lead. Aside from the romance, the revenge and murder mystery plot line is so interesting. It never fails to make me keep watching.
Now on to the spoiler zone and brutally honest review.
Love love love the plot line of murder mystery, hiding identity, childhood best friend and romance elements. It is so freshing compared to other jdramas. However, as other reviews call "soapy" or "soap opera", this drama tend to have soap opera elements so it was kinda cringy and cheesy in some of the scenes, not only acting wise but also production. Like sir I do not need a recap of your shocked face twice. Also, I feel like the storyline after ep 5 was a bit rushed. I personally think that it is ok to drag the episodes a bit since there were a lot of plot twists. It feels like every plot twist was packed at the last few episodes. I think that should have been unpacked slowly little by little and continued with the aftermath of it.
I'm quite surprised when Tsubaki and Nao just suddenly agreed to the idea of marriage on ep 1. Plus Tsubaki doesn't even know her identity yet! It feels quite weird to just jump straight to the "fake marriage trope" when you didn't even saw eachother more than twice. Also, even though the chemistry of the main characters were spot on, there were NOT 👏ENOUGH 👏SCENES👏 OF 👏THEIR👏 ROMANCE👏 DEVELOPMENT. What do you mean you liked eachother after two days and now you're kissing. (Well I'm not complaining tho) Isn't Nao supposed to hate Tsubaki or sm? Why is it that when he seduces her she suddenly can't back up for herself?? Yeah I can't get Tsubaki at first too. Like literally why is he hugging and kissing her when he knows he's in a fake marriage with her. Well maybe they're downbad, idk. I think they should have more scenes when they don't like eachother initially but gets more interested later on. Lastly, I wished we got to see what they're up to when they are reunited in the end.
Well that's all for my review, ik it's long but this is how much I wanted to say. Nonetheless, this is such a great story and I literally can't stop thinking about it the day after I finished it 😭💞. Their chemistry is sooo good and I hope they cast in another drama soon.

Promising drama with a lot of plot holes and untold backstories.
I'm not usually the type to watch business/chaebol dramas that don't involve romance (mostly) so this drama is one of my first of that kind of genre. The synopsis seemed interesting so i gave it a try. I was told this story will involve love triangles (which is one of the tropes i hate the most), but since romance isn't the main genre, i decided to continue watching it.From the first two episodes, I was sucked in by the bromance of the two male leads. It was good chemistry and i loved it. Later, when the female lead comes into scene, I was wondering why did the two male leads fall for her so quickly, and it felt like the bromance kinda fell apart after she came in between them. The female lead's acting is not good, as the public opinion agrees. She's expressionless and i was hoping that she can show more expression through out the series. Although, i might think that it's intentional, as female lead most probably dont view the male leads as friends, nor love interests. She might be faking everything, but that doesn't excuse her for potraying the character poorly.
The timelines of the story was straight forward, but we rarely get any backstory. It felt like the build up for the story was half baked and not well constructed, i guess it is understandable as it is only around 12 episodes. The supposely "interesting parts" of the story was not convincing nor memorable for me. The sister of the rich male lead was interesting. Her character and Tae-Oh(male lead) has amazing chemistry. I'm hoping their relationship will develop soon.
From episode 3 and 4, the "plan" that Tae-Oh has begun was suprisingly interesting along with the chairman. Their secret plans along with the hacker that ruined the Kang family was wicked indeed. The chairman faking in a coma was a plot twist for me lol. The satisfaction i got from Tae-Oh's plans is great. The fight scene between In-Ha and Tae-Oh at the beach was weird. I don't get what Tae-Oh wants or what his intentions are, and In-Ha is being so freaking childish its annoying. The way his personality went backwards 5 years later was sad. The fight at the carpark with Hui-ju was kinda spicy ngl!! I love their angst as of right now (if there's any) and I will be more than happy if Hui-Ju gets more scenes or together with Tae-Oh even if they eventually don't end up together.
I am very curious on how this story unfolds as there are a lot of stories that are left uncovered so im hoping there's more plot twists soon.
