You're right, but I think you also need to consider other factors.
For example, there are other events like the Jeff Satur concert and so on. Moreover, the targeted audiance is very young and usually they use more tiktok than X. The actors are also new and their ships just have started. They haven't really attended many pubblic events either.
Just give them more time :)

IMO, even if Shane was right, he felt bad for hurting Kit's feelings. At that point, he already had some feelings for Kit, so it's only natural for him to want to reconcile. Calling Kit a red flag is too much for now. Compared to Shane, he's just immature.

About PerTar, you have an interesting point! I didn't consider the aromantic side! All I was thinking was that Tar is the tsundere type XD

I think KitShane had the most screentime so far because they needed to get to that kiss scene, and from ep3 on, they'll balance more, maybe.
