no it doesn't, clearly the writer wanted Sun Jae t fall in love first for some reason, because it would be a crime to write a slow burn romance, and they had to do it fast, like i said ridicolous, lazy and also unnecessary
That's the same reason why the childhood love trope is so overused, they don't write romance but just conflict for 10+ episodes. What's the point to watch a romance when the two leads are in love with eachother from ep 1
