the cutesy and childlike character always being forced on the FL is also getting tiring and creepy

that was the early 2000s, there were less filters on the actors and they looked a lot more natural, he did not look like an high schooler but definetly not 30+ (he's like the korean version of chad michael murray 😂) he aged really well tho

i feel the same... i liked her a lot as MQG, i don't know why chinese dramas always make the FL act like a child (i'm starting to think they find that kind of behaviour attractive or smt) but there's 40 episodes and a lot of time of character developement, i'm hoping she goes back to be like MQG

it is maybe a bit draggy in the later episodes but it keeps you on the edge of your seat, i was shocked when i saw the rating here it definetly deserves more

typecasting means an actor who plays characters with very similar personality traits and in hidden love he was boring and bland, and looking at the comments he's quite bland here too, his looks have nothing to do with anything
