for a review this long, all I read is too much bitter pills all over the place. you're giving this series a bad name when in fact, it's an enjoyable watch, and the acting is good, too.

seriously. I get that this is your opinion but I guess you didn't fully understand what you just watched for you to say things like that. for a mini series of only two episodes, this series has done so well. It is easy and light to watch and is definitely a fluff, sweet like sugar. and for a two episodes drama, it wasn't rushed. they didn't changed history, specially about King Sejong, the greatest monarch of the Joseon era, the one who invented the Hangul.
I dunno if you just had a very unrealistic expectations, but this drama is a 10.

I totally agree with you on this. This series romanticizes rape and sexual abuse. It could've been satisfying if the ML suffered for several episodes, begging for the FL's forgiveness or him endung up in jail.
