What a rushed mess. Things just happened. Did ChatGPT (scriptwriting for dummies) forget FL had a kid? lol OK, next. Edit: Never mind, the kid appeared at the very end. I skipped to the end, so I missed her. lol
I detest how the 2ML is written. He exists solely because the writers wanted their cheap love triangle. To get us invested in the FL and 2ML's cheap one-sided romance (I hate that trope with a passion), they regressed the relationship between the ML and FL by turning the ML into an asshole right after he became more loving toward the FL. The better writing choice would've been to make 2ML a childhood friend of the FL and not turn the ML into an asshole. Then 2ML's dedication to the FL would've been justified and ML wouldn't have to become a noble idiot. Dumb writers.
For me, it's because the character is supposed to be not-quite-30, and he clearly is nowhere near that. And also…
He shouldn't have been able to just tell a prince that he would pursue and take his wife without facing any consequences. It's poorly written, all for the sake of a dumb love triangle. The 2ML is inserted into the story simply for the stupid love triangle. The writers could've fixed this easily by making FL and the 2ML childhood friends. Then they could've played the angle of unrequited or lost love.
For me, it's because the character is supposed to be not-quite-30, and he clearly is nowhere near that. And also…
THANKS YOU! The freaking nerve of that desperate dude trying to steal another man's wife. The only purpose for the 2ML's existence is be this desperate white knight. I hate that stupid fake love triangle subplot with a passion.

"Another thing he did that pissed me off, was the 2ML slingshotted that letter over the fence to the FL telling her he'll try to bust her out... and the ML impersonated the FL and wrote a letter back telling the 2ML to fuck off basically. THAT IS NOT KEW!!!"
I get what you mean, but in his defense, he's still insecure about their relationship. So, he had a human response. What he did, although childish, is understandable. In episode 12, he didn't take away her choice and allowed her to decide. I'm more disgusted with desperate 2ML's attempt to steal another man's wife. This dude just met the FL and thinks that he's her knight in shinning armor.
Nah, I hate desperate 2ML. Like dude, you barely know her, she's married, and you're trying to be some noble white…
I have agree with you. Although I don't like the 2ML's characterization, he does look better than the ML. But I hate desperate 2ML's with a passion. This is dude's entire reason for existing is to pine for the FL and get friend zoned.
Ep 10: If it were me, I would have immediately run away with 2ML.
Nah, I hate desperate 2ML. Like dude, you barely know her, she's married, and you're trying to be some noble white knight. Also, 2ML has zero characterization.
