If you haven't seen Reset.. you have missed out on a lot. Also, xianxia is my fav. Guardians of dafeng has my heart. Mythology lovers appreciate xianxia the most. Story of kunning palace was also good for me...and so is "the double". I personally loved "crush" as well...but that's purely because i like flawed characters.

I have seen 50 ep drama with little skinship and tbh, he ISN'T THAT GUY. To me, he cannot create chemistry like Mio Imada and Meguro Ren (for an example). Instead, I always feel like the writer was wronged when I watch his dramas. Also, FLs do major one sided weight lifting with him and they don't have to do that with other drama partners
I hope this is not romance...because this man is allergic to skinship and alters ORIGINAL WRITING to suit his own policy of little to no skinship. I don't appreciate that as someone who respects writers. I don't mind seeing him in other genres but...I think he should skip romance altogether. After seeing...many manyy of his dramas now,I also find his acting range to be quite limited. Of course, he chooses somewhat decent scripts. POB was a historical drama while this is a xianxia (technically a wuxia but I believeit has many xianxia elements) ..you are talking about different genres. Xianxia should have an "otherworldly" CELESTIAL FEEL. Someone is saying dragon has been done to death...lol! ITS A CHINESE DRAMA. Dragon is such an important part of mythology ..from where xianxia takes inspiration. Besides, POB totally killed the vibe of the entire drama for me in the last 4 eps. This genre usually has sooo much trauma that a drama like this is actually refreshing and a pairing as compatible as this is rare for xianxia. That's why people like it
Great start...!! Its a been a while since a kdrama gave me butterflies in the stomach. I had almost given up on kdramas Honestly, her backstory Is the best part for me...Her struggle represents millions of people. While the setting is romcom and cindrella type of fantasy, her story is realistic
