Goblin wasn't loved for the romance of the main couple. It was loved for the overall chemistry of the entire cast and the connections between them. I am sorry but Hidden love seemed OUTRIGHT CREEPY to me in many ways. It seemed like they watered down the FL's personality into some one dimensional weirdly introverted woman..which is inconsistent with her persona in childhood as well as how she is with the rest of the people. Its... like they desperately wanted the FL to look "pure" and overly SHY. (Probably wanted to overcompensate because Zhao lusi is actually older in real life). Idk..Love Lusi but among all her dramas, I liked this the least. It got popular in some very populated countries and git dubbed...so I understand why its over hyped. I was happy to see a chinese drama on top because I am definitely more of a cdrama lover but kinda disappointed to see this one.
