Situ ling didnt give her GMD. From the trailer its some kind of spell to lengthen her life. But she already recovered because JBZ gave her the antidote. There's only one antidote in the world. Only JBZ possesed it and he gave it to her.

This story is about two broken individuals met. JBZ's life full of betrayals. Imagine one hour before they had intimate night, next hour she went and steal GMD. Anyone in that position, will have alot of emotions. (Angry, sad, disappointment). But after few days, he calm down and started to see things more clearly. Even he knows her real identity and her reason for stealing GMD, he doesn't mind at all. For Min Yi, all her life is about deception and lies. Always live for others. Because she was forced to do that because of her mother. She has alot of chances to tell him the truth but she was scared because that is her inner demon. So rather than being honest, she feel guilty too. So i believe she does that for him to hate her. So no one is right or wrong here. Their actions influence by their trauma. Its about how these two broken people come and overcome this together.

He also suffered from heavenly grief but his sifu managed to slow down the poison. But in order to have full recovery, he needs to take the antidote which given by his sifu on her last breath. But from the drama, it seems that he is not taking it. I think he is suffered from the pain too because time to time you see that he vomit blood. but the drama yet to show about his poison. I believe they will tell the story about his poison toward the end of episodes. So for now, no one knows that he actually need the antidote too. But since he knows Min Yi is dying from the poison, he will give the antitode to her without her knowing..

Yes i hope she is not stupid and blindly believe situ ling. JBZ even sacrifice his life to save hers. I have high hope on her. She doesn't seem like someone who will go for marriage. And how it gonna work if she still married to JBZ . For once i wish JBZ just take the credit for saving her 💔

Yes my last subscription was for first frost and arthur chen recent xian xia drama. i think they need to undergo managemeng changes because their big project dramas are getting lesser and lesser. Their schedule is shit too. I believe only few more left (the highly anticipated projects) most of it are animes and short drama. I think they started to lose focus. Now IQIYI and wetv have more exciting upcoming dramas compare to Youku

I think JBZ is proud to have a warrior god dess as his wife 😆 he even asked her to build artifact for him. Well at least now the divorce era is ending soon. Luckily it didnt take too long.

Based on your previous comment, it makes sense why Youku decided to take the path. In the end of the day, i think this year, youku is not doing well (in terms of their active users) because at times, for few months, there's no much interesting drama going on. Alot dramas still put on hold. Only God knows when they are going air it. But it might hurt them in the long run tho. Because i believe drama project want to ensure their drama end with success. So if they keeps being greedy, prolly youku might lose big projects to another platforms 🤔🤔 well I don't know what they are thinking haha

Heavenly grief (poison) and Golden millet dream (antidote) consider them as coming in one set which need to be taken together.

For those who have spritual vein. Will destroy their spiritual vein and die from heavenly grief, will need antitode to cure. (Min Yi case)

For those who don't have spritual vein, for the strong individual, it will gain them spritual vein, for the weak one will die. But they still need to take antidote or else they will die too. (JBZ, situ ling)

Another thing, i believe if they take HG and GMD together, it might be good for their cultivation too. It may helps them to trancends higher stage of cultivation. Thats why all the realms searching for GMD formula like crazy(2nd part of Bo Clan medicine book).

for me, i dont see it as a good thing for both dramas. (Where both airs at the same time, both big projects). Yes it might be good for Youku platform because they need active users but it might hurt either of the dramas because one might overshadowed another one. Its like 2 drama competing with each other. Other platforms actually wait for their current project to be finished then start another marketing project for upcoming drama . Which is more effective and guarantee better results. For me, they dont care any of these dramas, as long as they can make money. Thats why youku nowadays is not my fav platform. Because i feel bad for the drama cast, production teams as they put alot of efforts to their projects.

He got spritual vein alot later (in sunken abyss) because he got poisoned by heavenly grief. Remember that he got tortured when he was handling the medicine, If not mistaken, all those slave who handling the medicines, got exposed to heavenly grief, for weakers, it kills them. Like him a special person, got the spritual vein. But he still can die because GMD is the antidote. Anyone got poisoned by heavenly grief, must take GMD..which is why the whole realms are crazy about it. BTW, JBZ never take the antidote yet. So he can die if he is not taking the GMD
