The homepage top upcoming shows list still depends on the release date of the drama. The top ten of the whole upcoming shows results are entirely different to the top ten on the homepage widget. They are effectively two different lists. One shows the most anticipated in the near future, the other the most anticipated for any show not yet released.

I was ready for Shen Xi He to be scheming the heck out of the capital, but at this point she's doing nothing. Anything she has her hands in is upstaged by the crown prince and the editing is starting to make this feel like a power point slide show. 😔

MDL apparently counts the dramas as released on the day of the episode release instead of tying it to the hour counter, so that's why they don't appear on the Top Upcoming Shows list anymore. The delay in appearing on the Top Airing Shows list seems to be that enough users have to switch from "plan to watch" to "currently watching".

She has the memories of both. She comes back to life as Gu Qing Zhi but once Shen Xin He's maids give her the mirror, the FL remembers Shen Xin He's past too (mostly). The FL has retained more of Gu Qing Zhi's personality but she's basically a new person, a combination of the two princesses.

Agreed, there's so much we're told instead of shown. The investigations, the characters randomly monologuing... It's enjoyable but the foundation is really shaky even if they slow down for future big story beats.

Fan Shuai Qi just looks so good as Bu Shu Lin. I already love her interactions with Cui Jin Bai. In just a few scenes they are already a better "role swap" couple than a lot of others.

My first Meng Zi Yi drama was Royal Rumors, so it's nice to see her and Jeremy Xu back together in a drama but this time as a tragic couple that was never meant to be.
