I am honestly surprised by the number of poor reviews here. I've watched a lot of BL, and this is pretty good. It's definitely not cutting edge or sophisticated, but it's soothing. I catch myself smiling a lot (and sometimes crying) so I was definitely invested in the two main couple's lives. It's just sweet and lovely. For me, this will be a BL with a good rewatch factor (with a caveat noted below in point 2)

Confession: I am an absolute sucker for a cold/quiet/reserved male lead; Solo and Phuri Drake are poster-boys for the type.

A few comments:

1/ Why has there been no follow up show(s) for PhuBoss? I liked them very much.
2/ Despite my enjoyment of the series, the show would have been better paced without the doctors/brother/FL arc. I buzz through those scenes and would recommend similar so that the pacing stays on course.
3/ Probably the only BL for which I don't cringe when the guitar is hauled out. The boys can sing and play well and the OST is great!

In the credits of ep. 8, at timestamp 15:24, you can see the songs listed for the OST. Toxic is shown, but I'm having trouble translating with my app. It should show the singer, composer, etc. If anyone can try to translate, I would appreciate.

Okay, this only makes me want to find the song even more! I know he has a new album out, but the song doesn't seem to be on it. :-|

If I don't figure out what the song is that is haunting me, I'm going to scream. It's the one that appears in ep 8 and 10 with the lyrics, 'Because I'm toxic, stay away from me, or else you might get lost on the way; there's nowhere we'll be safe. Don't go. Boulevards where we've been standing together. Sun is down and we will watch it 'til the end. See the colour shade of purple; fallen sunlight's in the water...' and so on.
I have torn up the internet trying to find it.

Um. Why is this so freaking good? Also, the ML is perfection.

I came to ask the same thing. I really love the OST and would love to find it somewhere but am having no luck.

This show is brilliant. Top and Mick are talented, the scripts are well-paced, the music is lovely, the filming is top notch...This will definitely be in my top 3 list for 2024, if not in the top spot. I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Now I'm going back to clutch my pillow and snot-cry myself to sleep.

This might be a perfect BL. 10/10. No notes.

This is definitely one of my favourite BLs of this year and last. It had so much depth, good revelation of backstory, great supporting characters, and the acting was superb. I am going to miss this show in the coming weeks. I pray the creators will be able to give us a second season...but if not, I will take this gift and enjoy it on its own, as a brilliant drama.

Ep 12 was so sweet. I love these two and wish I could follow their story further.

This show is so well done. Yes, it's a stark, dark story of two traumatized people finding each other, but it's well acted and thoughtful. I am impressed at the adaptation and the way the topic is handled. Brilliant.

Wow. The first two episodes are pretty outstanding. This was not on my radar and is such a pleasant surprise!
