If I don't figure out what the song is that is haunting me, I'm going to scream. It's the one that appears in ep 8 and 10 with the lyrics, 'Because I'm toxic, stay away from me, or else you might get lost on the way; there's nowhere we'll be safe. Don't go. Boulevards where we've been standing together. Sun is down and we will watch it 'til the end. See the colour shade of purple; fallen sunlight's in the water...' and so on. This show is brilliant. Top and Mick are talented, the scripts are well-paced, the music is lovely, the filming is top notch...This will definitely be in my top 3 list for 2024, if not in the top spot. I look forward to seeing what comes next.

With every episode, this series just keeps getting better and better. Great acting and storytelling. I love the production and the pacing is perfect. Also, the chemistry is just sizzling.
This is definitely one of my favourite BLs of this year and last. It had so much depth, good revelation of backstory, great supporting characters, and the acting was superb. I am going to miss this show in the coming weeks. I pray the creators will be able to give us a second season...but if not, I will take this gift and enjoy it on its own, as a brilliant drama.
This show is so well done. Yes, it's a stark, dark story of two traumatized people finding each other, but it's well acted and thoughtful. I am impressed at the adaptation and the way the topic is handled. Brilliant.
It always puzzles me why the Chinese government censors such utterly innocuous BLs. It also puzzles me that a country that is so darned good at creating BLs simply isn't able to make them! Wah.
