Yes! When I got to know him, I found that the way he talks in real life is different from how he talks in dramas. I watched him in "Handsome Sibling" and then "Our Secret." At that time, I didn't realize he was the same actor; he gave me a different feeling with each character he played. It was only when I watched "Mr. Bad" that I remembered him and thought, "Oh! That's the actor from those dramas I watched before." I became interested in him and have been a fan ever since.
Tencent also released many modern dramas' posters and trailers today.they don't depend on only costume dramas...but…
We already had one last year with "Hidden Love," a standout modern drama that could rival K-Dramas. This year, you can look forward to another promising one called "The White Olive Tree." π€£π€£π€£

Due to my short temper and tendency to get bored easily π, Chinese costume dramas with 30-40 episodes are not my cup of tea. Even with K-Dramas that have 16 episodes, I often abandon them halfway. Surprisingly, I can finish a costume drama if CZY is in it because I appreciate his visuals and acting, which keep me engaged until the end π

lol CZY is 'eliminated' prince and get bullied easily because his agency is useless, unlike another traffic star who regularly issues legal statements against black fans or haters, CZY got nothing. π Despite this, he did a very good job last year with HL. HL reached 1 billion views in China, which I consider very impressive for an Idol Drama. All the well-known traffic stars starred in popular costume dramas, except CZY.
I would prefer him to star in 2-3 dramas a year and carefully choose his projects. Otherwise, audiences might become accustomed to seeing him in similar roles repeatedly, which could negatively impact his career as an actor.
Considering he acted in TGH, even in just a supporting role, who knows? He might join some Tencent event π.…
This is just my opinion; nobody knew the real situation anyway. Judging from that time, rumors about that drama surfaced around January-February when SAF4 was still on air. There was a major controversy about the billing, and D fans objected to him starring alongside her because they feared he would bring up the billing again. They also believed he didn't suit the mature role of ML as defined in the novel due to his youthful appearance, and they felt CZY's acting wasn't on par with hers. To avoid further controversy, he decided not to accept the role since February. However, YXH continued to post as if he had been rejected until March-April, when they announced the new ML. So he didn't purposely refuse Tencent, and later there were many rumor melon associated with Tencent's dramas. Yuanbao seem upset with Tencent because rumors keep appearing without official announcements like they used his name for some reason. I don't think Tencent have anything against him, though. Whatever happened was just a fate I guess.
His fans have been cryingg on weibo since yesterday that they've been missing him so much because he disappeared…
Chen Zhe Yuan, the man you are ππ I just complained this morning that I wanted Chen Zhe Yuan to post on Weibo more often, or I would miss him to death , and suddenly in the afternoon, he posted with a cool photo linked to his new costume drama. π₯Ή
His ranking jumped from beyond 100 to #47 within a month, good progress.
