Are they using AI for subs? It was ok before but now it’s horrible. I didn’t understand anything.
At least we wouldn’t have to worry about the subtitles though 😉

Damn, speaking of my all-time enemy, iQiyi....the platform that has been so ungrateful to CZY even though he is under their sub.
Some Mango dramas like..A Splendid Match is also available on iQiyi Inter , but this drama isn’t.

Maybe it has something to do with the production company’s distribution contract...I’m not sure. still I think it would have been much better if the drama were available on iQiyi Inter too.

This may be a little off-topic but at least CZY’s other drama isn’t on Mango. Still, we’ll probably face a different set of problems with iQiYi or Tencent anyway.

🤣 I’ve come to the conclusion that this is all propaganda to force international viewers to learn Mandarin just to watch their dramas especially since Mango TV is owned by the state-run Hunan broadcasting group 🤣

Yeah, maybe...but even Google Translate could probably do a better job.

Honestly, they need to care more about international viewers, especially the viewers subscribe to their platform and watch their content.
This is an official streaming service, not some pirate site that doesn’t care about its audience.

In that case, I would be even more confused. We’re living in an era of advanced AI technology where China can create humanoid robots that dance and fight like humans and they have just launched Kimi K3, an AI model powerful enough to shake the US stock market, yet Mango still can’t use AI to translate subtitles properly. How ironic 😂

well, she’s book smart and it’s literally her first day at the office so i think it’s realistic for her…
This!!! So many viewers always expect the FL to be a Mary Sue 😭
Please give them a break and let them be human for once! 😭

Ikr! Who else would dare argue with the emperor if not MTH? 😜
The emperor has finally met his match made in heaven! 🤭

I quite agree with this. We’ll see more of her in the next two episodes and since she grew up tough and has witnessed so much injustice around her, I can understand why she acts this way.

I think this is also what will fascinate the emperor about her. She is probably the only woman who dares to stand up to him and defend what she truly believes in.

I’m not saying whether her actions are right or wrong but we’re only about one-third of the way through the story, so let’s see what happens next.

And smart woman can have emotion too, right? 😎

ML is jealous because he constantly addresses FL's male assistant as a pretty-face. 😂Not to mention, the livid,…
🤣🤣🤣 I agree with the emperor on this one.... our Yin Qing is such a pretty boy in this drama.

How's the romance here? Is it slow burn? Or do both or one of them show interest from the beginning?
I would say it’s kind of a slow-burn romance. Even when they fall in love with each other, it won’t be easy for them to express their feelings because he is the emperor and she is a scholar-official. Their love will be forbidden, at least for a while.

I’m not sure whether anyone has posted this yet, but since some of you mentioned Ning Ge’s OST, here is the…
I also really like the OST that plays during the drunken rain scene.
That scene was so beautifully done! It starts at around the 12-minute in the video.

I don’t know why but the song sounds a little like a Korean OST to me. 😅

And when the emperor rushed over to hold her and speak to her, he sounded so gentle as he asked “Why are you torturing yourself?” 🥹

I watched the trailer of KTTPH and I think Neo and Ai Mi suit their roles quite well. As far as I know, there…
Cnetz always find fault with everything...even the smallest details just to smear actors. Without this particular reason, they would simply find another excuse to attack them anyway.

Eventually, they will forget about it and move on to a new target, so it’s better to just ignore them. If the drama passed censorship and was approved for broadcast, then the authorities clearly did not consider it inappropriate. Therefore, the Cnetz's argument is invalid.

He’s turning 30, he’s not a baby.
😂😂 He is sure not a baby.
Besides, CZY has worked with Li Qin before and WJY has also worked with WXY, who is actually even younger than CZY. Yet the chemistry between WJY and WXY was incredible, it completely won the audience over. That was also one of the reasons The Double became such a memorable drama for many viewers.

Nowadays, C-dramas seem determined to pair 95-liners with other 95-liners.
It’s not very refreshing when we keep seeing the same group of actors paired with one another. The industry needs more variety.

Okay, this probably sounds a little absurd coming from me, since CZY’s other two dramas also pair him with actresses who are 95-liners 😅

of course, i understand to promo a new generation like Ai Mi in KTTPH
I watched the trailer of KTTPH and I think Neo and Ai Mi suit their roles quite well.
As far as I know, there are no inappropriate scenes between them, their interactions look soft and innocent.

It’s also not the actors fault. The real issue is that the investors pushed Ai Mi into the project too quickly instead of waiting until she turned 18 before filming it.

It’s not that big of an age gap, only six years.
