i have a feeling since lulu is now free 😊in time they will collab and its gonna be amazing.
CZY seems quite loyal to his agency. He’s also pretty simple in the sense that he mainly focuses on acting and doesn’t seem too interested in all the complicated industry games. He rarely posts anything on Weibo just to hype himself up either, you know, like dropping super good-looking photos every now and then just to generate buzz. His Douyin is mostly about A-Zan, his dog... lol 😂

Honestly, if it were someone else, they might have left already because this agency doesn’t seem to provide much of what an artist really needs to survive and compete in this industry. Quite a few artists have left the agency over the years even those who weren’t as well-known as CZY.
But somehow, CZY is still there 😅 He really seems like the type who just keeps his head down, does his work and focuses on acting rather than constantly trying to manufacture attention for himself.

You’re normally quite calm during Fusheng discussions. What happened that made you suddenly snap?
If you read my comments, you’d probably understand why 🙂 Honestly, I really just want to support CZY peacefully, but whenever I follow some of the drama-related content, it sometimes feels like he keeps getting targeted by certain side with bad intentions. And I really hate that kind of tactic, no matter who it’s directed at.

CZY has already been dragged for so long over billing issues, and now that kind of fight is happening everywhere LOL—sometimes even worse than what happened with CZY. So honestly, the billing issue doesn’t feel that important anymore.

And I’m actually relieved that there now seems to be a better way to reduce these endless billing wars through the new name-ranking system. Hopefully, people can finally focus more on the actual drama instead of fighting over whose name comes first.

So I thought this would finally mean I could support CZY’s dramas peacefully again.

But nahhh 😑 What frustrates me now is seeing negativity coming from people who are supposed to be his co-stars or part of the same project. From the beginning of filming all the way to the wrap-up day, I kept seeing things that made me uncomfortable

I stayed quiet for months because I wanted to protect the drama and avoid unnecessary fandom fights. But not anymore, not after the wrap-up day, when I saw tactics that felt clearly intentional. And to me, it didn’t look accidental either, because pushing that many trending topics usually takes coordinated promotion and money, especially when the result seems aimed at dragging CZY down while boosting someone else’s status.
Even a lot of marketing accounts noticed it and started posting in support of CZY, saying that some people really seemed desperate to “flip the table” and change the narrative so badly 😂 LOL... that alone shows how obvious the whole thing looked to people watching from the outside.

If I see something that feels deliberately disrespectful toward CZY again, I’m going to speak up 😐

Ohh okay... lol. Yeah, girl-boss power, go go! 😆👏

Now they can choose a wider variety of scripts instead of being stuck with agencies that care more about popularity and keep pushing them into the same kinds of popular costume dramas.

I really want to see them move beyond the rising star label and become actresses who can take on a wide variety of roles. They should have more freedom to choose the projects they genuinely want and work with whoever they want to work with, just as Bai Lu has said before. That kind of freedom can actually help them grow as actresses, rather than keeping them stuck in projects designed mainly to generate hype.

And on Weibo, they even have contests like, “Vote for the hottest couple of the summer...” 😭 At this point, it feels like this industry can’t survive without CP hype. Everything has to be turned into a pairing, a chemistry battle, or a shipping contest somehow 😂.

How about voting for the best character, best-written role, or best script instead? At least that would encourage the industry to care more about acting, storytelling, and overall production quality 🥱

Do you mean Bai Lu or Zhao Lusi? 😅 They both have “Lu” in their names, lol. Bai Lu is still filming right now, while ZLS hasn’t started her new drama yet, but she should be starting soon once the script is fully ready. They both have so much potential, and I’m rooting for both of them 🥰

And CZY? For his next project, he’ll be doing a modern action/suspense drama...
...at least, that’s what’s happening in my dreams 🤣🤣🤣
With everything that has happened lately, I’m honestly starting to feel allergic to the words “CP” and “Chemistry” Like... 🙄 🙄🙄

Weekly Popularity of Upcoming Drama Characters in Week 34 of 2026:

🏆TOP1: "The First Blossom" #BaiLuWangYunna# 👑 Queen topped the character chart again 😂
🔥TOP2: "Floating Life" #ChenZheyuanAoChi#
🔥TOP3: "Dream Flower Court" #ChenZheyuanTangQianzi#
🔥TOP4: "Ignite the Night" #ChenZheyuanChenShan#

Sister and brother energy 👏😂 I still remember how hilarious Bai Lu and CZY were together on the variety show. Bai Lu was laughing so hard during the balloon game when CZY kept getting smashed over and over again by those water-filled balloons LOL. It was so funny even just thinking about it still makes me laugh 😭🤣

Damn... I don’t even feel like looking forward to this drama anymore.
Just thinking about all of this is already making me annoyed 😑
Maybe I’ll just wait for his next project instead.

His team will probably push trending searches heavily again when the drama airs. Ohhh, maybe we won’t even have to wait that long 😏 Let’s see what happens when the official trailer drops. I wouldn’t be surprised if his side starts pushing even more buzz around him together with the FL again.
From what I’ve seen, putting his name out there alone doesn’t seem to generate the same level of attention, so tying his name to WCR and selling the CP appears to be the easier way to create buzz. A lot of the trending topics I’ve noticed include WCR’s name, but his name is placed first in the wording, which makes it look pretty obvious which side is pushing the topic. And the way those topics are framed sometimes makes it feel like they’re trying to position him almost as the ML rather than simply promoting him individually.

So if that same strategy continues once Floating Life starts promoting properly, especially with heavy CP marketing, it really wouldn’t surprise me. From a marketing perspective, pushing the Floating Life CP with the FL probably looks like one of the easiest ways for his side to generate more attention 😏

And I’m honestly kind of wondering... is it really that hard for him to get his own drama as the ML when everyone keeps saying he has already blown up and has strong male-lead potential? 🤔
Or maybe staying as the SML while trying to grab as much spotlight as possible is simply more convenient. If the drama turns out badly, he can avoid most of the criticism because he isn’t the actual ML. But if the drama performs well, his team can push the buzz around him and try to claim part of the success through the “good CP” or “strong chemistry” narrative with the FL and make everyone bully the ML. Super convenient this way 👏👏👏

Only time will tell whether that’s really the strategy, but I honestly hate this kind of tactic 🫤 I’ve been following Weibo for years, and it’s actually pretty rare to see an SML side pushing this hard for attention right from the drama’s wrap-up stage. Usually, this kind of heavy promotion happens when the drama actually starts airing. But this time? Wow... it feels like they really push him too hard. The drama has only just wrapped and the CP push already feels so aggressive. Like... wow. ..... Meanwhile, CZY’s agency barely seems to care or invest in him. Sometimes it feels like all they know how to do is profit from CZY while leaving him to survive this fake and exhausting industry mostly on his own 😑

So no, I’m probably not going to shut up about it.

When I look through the drama’s super topic on Weibo and see so many those CP-focused posts, it honestly doesn’t surprise me that a lot of CZY fans don’t follow it. They’re probably already annoyed by all that hype-CP talk 😂
Right now, the Fusheng super topic has only around 6,000 followers which is... kind of giving me RB vibes, cough cough.

Meanwhile, CD drama super topic has almost 160,000 followers, and FH had pretty strong engagement too with pretty much the same number.

But maybe I shouldn’t compare them too much yet because Fusheng has only just finished filming and there isn’t even an official trailer yet. Still, if I remember correctly, quite a lot of people were already following the FH and CD super topics even while they were still filming. Fans from both sides also shared good Reuters content and supported the drama together which was actually really nice to see. Here I don't really want to even open drama super topic on Weibo... so I follow it via X instead...

See! You’re hurt when some ML fans ship him with another actress, like the SFL, right? It’s the same when…
As a CZY fan, who in their right mind wouldn’t want his drama to succeed? 😅 But when we look back at the past, the dramas or production teams that didn’t treat CZY properly often didn’t end up with particularly good results either.
So seeing some of the same signs again naturally makes me worried that this drama could be heading down a similar path.

Let’s see. For now, I’ll shut up 😂 because I still want to protect and support the drama, especially since I genuinely like both leads. I’d rather wait for the actual trailer and final product before judging everything.

But if I see any bad signs again, I’ll definitely come back and talk my sh** 😂. Hopefully, it won’t come to that. I really do want this drama to turn out well.

With very little publicity, hardly any hot-search buying and an agency that honestly seems allergic to spending…
By the way, CD has already reached 2.3 million reservations and according to the latest rumors, it’s more likely to air toward the end of September, which is already after the summer season. So we will finally get to see CZY portray a general this time 🙂

With very little publicity, hardly any hot-search buying and an agency that honestly seems allergic to spending money on marketing 😂 CZY still managed to have three upcoming characters in the Top 4 of the Huanwang Big Data upcoming-character heat ranking shared posted by Zhejiang TV blog on weibo.

https://weibo.com/1288369910/ReJHTdnKU

#1 Bai Lu — The Last Blossom, Wang Yunna 👑 Queen!!!
#2 Chen Zheyuan — Floating Life, Ao Chi
#3 Chen Zheyuan — Dream Flower Court, Tang Qianzi
#4 Chen Zheyuan — Ignite the Night, Chen Shan

And this is exactly why I keep saying there’s a reason productions cast CZY as the ML.
His side may not invest heavily in CP hype or constantly push trending searches but his characters can still generate attention on their own without needing to spend money heavily just to create buzz.

Having three completely different upcoming roles ranking at the same time says much more to me than one or two manufactured hot search that disappears the next day 😂 Of course, a ranking like this can’t prove anything but it does show that CZY already has substantial audience interest attached to his upcoming characters before those dramas even air.

So when people act like, “Why did they cast XXX as the ML?" in CZY's drama... well, this is one of the reasons. He brings built-in attention without his team needing to scream about him every five minutes on Weibo 🤣

Yes, they both looked so lovely while filming together too. I’d honestly be much happier if they had more scenes together in the drama. Their interactions seemed really natural, so it would be a shame if the production didn’t give the ML–FL relationship enough time to develop properly.

Yeah, fandom fights seem to happen everywhere whenever these 95-liners get paired together 🤣 Sometimes it feels like the billing issue is simply the easiest thing people can use to attack CZY over, especially when they can’t find much else to criticize him for personally 😐

And from what I saw during filming, CZY treated WCR really well on set. When she seemed unwell and was coughing a lot, he checked on her, told her to drink more water, tried to cheer her up, and made her laugh. She looked genuinely exhausted at the time too, because she was juggling filming with drama promotions, brand events and variety-show appearances. He always creates a really good atmosphere on set and makes his co-stars feel comfortable and relaxed while they’re filming together. Even the director likes him a lot as they were often seen laughing together. Both the director and WCR seemed to be under quite a lot of pressure and stress during filming and you guys know why, so having someone like CZY around to lighten the mood probably helped more than people realize.

With some other actors or teams, situations like that could easily be turned into negative trending topics or articles accusing the actress of not spending enough time on set as I saw many times on Weibo. But CZY’s side never use that kind of tactic against his co-star.

There were also many times when CZY had to film on set without her, so naturally the number of ML–FL scenes was already affected. When WCR returned to filming, the production seemed to give even more material to the SML, which made the ML–FL interaction feel even more limited.
So, should I be pissed? 😅 How are we supposed to get a convincing romance between these two when they already had so little time filming scenes together in the first place?
Just imagine if the situation were reversed. If CZY had left the filming set for a week, then came back and spent a lot of his filming time doing scenes with the SFL, while some CZY fans and SFL fans aggressively hyped that CP and used it to drag WCR down... CZY would probably be hated to death for it 🤣

That’s another reason I get so annoyed when some of WCR’s fans turn around and use CP discussions to drag CZY down. Like... for what? He treated her well as a co-star, so seeing that kind of attitude toward him just feels really ungrateful and unnecessary 😐

I don’t really care whether WCR’s name comes first or not. Why should I? It’s fine, ladies first, you know? 😂 Billing fights happen everywhere nowadays, and I don’t think that should automatically become a reason to drag the ML. At the end of the day, both fandoms should still be able to protect the drama together despite disagreements over billing.

For example, with Chasing Dreams, CZY and ZJY fans also had some conflicts at first, but later things became much more harmonious because both sides wanted to support and protect the drama. ZJY’s and CZY's fans mostly minded their own business and didn’t keep dragging each other down which made the whole atmosphere much better. So that make me feel to support the drama even more.. ....

And this drama......? like I said...

Billing again? That topic is already outdated. Billing isn’t even worth arguing about anymore, especially after they introduced other ways to use character rankings or whether based on their name instead.

Is there anything else showing CZY fans attacking WCR? Because what we were actually talking about was the CP issue and how some fans use pairings to disrespect or sideline one actor in favor of another?
