and wow - her mom is cruel but her words also sound like perhaps this is a situation where the concubine has been orchestrating things and playing victim. like it does feel like maybe she is doing this in a twisted way of trying to keep her daughter safe, but she doesn't know how terrible she was living this whole time...🤔

the father is giving typical useless historical romance dad. you're the head of the household but all these years you could never go against your wife to bring your daughter home?

anyway i know theyre having a serious convo but i can't help but notice... there's only 1 bed 🤪😳 wei zhi will have more inspiration for her secret webtoon 😏

i think every time i remember this drama exsists i remove half a star from rating. at this point i don't even remember the plot I just know it was annoying and the ending made me mad. i feel annoyed just seeing the title

i was a bit annoyed with Wei Zhi when Jiang Yiming said he would go too (to the next resort location) and she said no, but then said okay when he said he would take pictures for her.

i think his character is hammed up because it's meant to be comedic, but unfortunately for me he's just annoying overbearing and stalkerish and completely lacking any socail awareness. but now it's like, is Wei Zhi taking advantage of his feelings or encouraging his behavior?
i'm worried the ending will feel super rushed, because not a whole lot has really happened but we're already halfway through the series. there's so many plot threads and relationships to resolve still..

because it's based off of the same novel....

erm well that already does not sound "better" than the webtoon to me

i am still so worried how they are gonna handle the main sieun vs seongje (grey vs wolf) fight here... for the most part i've come to accept the major deviations from the webtoon in the 1st season, but they didn't give sieun any trauma associated with rooftops and that is a huge part of sieun's character and his fight w wolf in particular.
i'm sure the fight will be Cool here but i'm not sure if they will be able to achieve the same emotional weight it had in the webtoon..

i feel like they spent a little too much screentime on jiang nanfeng's lesson w dai duo. we really didn't need to see that much. unless the point was to offer actual snowboarding advice to the audience? anyway most of those scenes could have been cut in favor of more interesting things or actually showing more of wei zhi and shan chong's lesson & as long as the accident was still there it would have still moved the plot along.

I don't know if they fixed previous episodes, but the english subtitles improved a little in that they learned how to actually use the word snowboarding now
