Sageuk Lover

For me I can watch a show even with scandalous actors if I already like the drama or their characters even prior to knowing the scandal. For this show, at least I'm glad it was not the male lead's scenes I watch but rather the younger actors.

The younger actors are the reason I watch this drama. They were really enjoyable even as I find the plot of this show mediocre compared to other sageuks nominated at the same baeksang show as this one. I find the male lead to be overacting (now I hated him more), the second female lead was my favorite from the adults.

The male lead was never my fave anyway, glad I always love this for the younger actors

the agency that is demanding Kim Sae Ron money belongs to Kim Soo Hyun and his cousin. This is the reason why he's blamed (aside from him dating her when she was extremely young while he was on his late 20).

He did try to take revenge and he almost killed her father at the last episode, but his father told him the news that female lead is pregnant with his (male lead) child

There is chance, River Where the Moon Rises literally had 7 episodes out when male lead scandal came out, they solved the problem by replacing him with Na In Woo. The actors had to agree refilming scenes with new male lead without pay though to save money which the actors willingly did.

Not defending the family but I read somewhere just a few hours ago that they weren't aware of her relationship until after a few years.

The fact that he has one of the highest scores in the stars leaderboard (and he once had the top scores there for a long while), makes me so annoyed. 😡😡😡. I always disliked his overrated ass. He can’t even act.

Please continue. maybe you’re overwhelmed by the number of characters. trust me, they’ll make sense later. this drama is the reason why nam ji hyun is someone i consider one if korea’s best actresses.

Watch the Princess Man from 2011. Aside from the fact that it’s obviously old, you’ll love this drama if you love My Dearest and Red Sleeve

I think the reat of the cast and the staff who worked hard for this drama still deserve to have their hardwork released

in moon embracing the sun (his first adult lead role), the best episodes are the first 6 episodes where the child actors of the leads appear. wild to think that kim sae ron is younger than almost all the child actors from the first 6 episodes.

they can replace him with a new actor and refilm all scenes with the new actor. this is what happened when the jisoo (not the blackpink girl, but a male actor with the same name) scandal came out while river where the moon rises was filming (earlier episodes were already shown on TV). he was replaced by na in woo.

please call him Kim SOO-Hyun. There is a different actress named Kim SO-Hyun

He does not deserve his 2012 Baeksang. That should have gone to Han Suk Kyu, who acted better as a king in his better sageuk drama than Kim Soo Hyun acting as a king in his sageuk that year.

One possible thing they can do is to refilm all male lead scenes with another actor. That was what happened with River Where the Moon Rises, some cast members were willing to refilm scenes without pay for that though. And I figure it will be harder to replace a male lead as popular as Kim Soo Hyun
