Ep 28 - same ! Every scene at the ancestral hall was gorgeous. Ying Gua’s determination to break the old rules… but the restraint to not make it as tyrant’s rambling… His resolve to make his court understand that his people comes first , but his personal life is his decision.
Again- not talking about the whole plot. But the depth of of this Yingua’s character is very impressive. CZY did very well here.

Ep 30 was so good . It’s directed so gorgeously… every scene is beautiful. I especially liked CZY fight scene. Ying Gua planning to sabotage the coup, his shock at the left chancellor’s death, his anger to wipe out yin Qing ‘s clan, but his calculated restraint to put his country in front, even heart broken going with MTH’s plan for the country… everything is portrayed so beautifully… and tbh, everyone did their job beautifully… again not talking about the plot …
