She first diverted the river and created the reservoir. Once the reservoir was filled with water and enemy was approaching, they let the reservoir opened for it to be flooded across the area where the enemies were coming.. (in simple words she created flood from dam or mini tsunami 🤣)

What a beautiful episode, to be honest, Manman should realize the betrayal Weis went through when Qiaos didn't help them 14 years ago. Her sister did the exact same thing for the exact same reason. I agree her sister worry about her family, same way her grandfather worried. Both betrayed but this time Manman may not hold a grudge. She is smart enough to fight and win mentally than physically. This is the beauty of this show. You can even achieve things with planning instead of using a force.
I want to see the face of Wei Shao tommorrow when he realizes how smart his wife is, who has one the war mentally and this is not the first time. Remember in Rongjun when that uncle Wei was being a villain, her strategic moves created the rift between uncle and governor leading for uncle to be dead smoothly without any fight.
Wei Shao should consider to be lucky enough. The two are a power couple - one with physical power, other with beauty with brains.
